I wish I could come, but it looks like for once we're actually celebrating on Thanksgiving this year...which for my family is unusual. Next year I'm going to try to come for this though, I just have to find a place to stay, or crash in the back of my jeep.

heh. well, i wouldn't say "try" except for two things - 1) depends when the family is doing their big meal. unfortunately, it's here in kzoo this year, so i'll have to drive over after - i really can't miss it without causing a huge dramafest. 2) need to get the gas tank replaced on my truck, as i can't fill it much over 1/4 tank without sloshing gas all over the ground.

that being said, i'm going to do my best to make it!

I'll show up for part deux, or some part somewhere in there after family dinner is done, possibly before 9. Last year kicked SERIOUS ass!! I'll bring some pop and hopefully some tasty leftovers of a snackage variety, though I remember there being no lack of food last year! :D

Oh hey. You know how there's those tip jars that no one puts money in at take out places?

I just got this from newly poor Stormknight

I will need to have a collection started.

I have to make a trip soon that will be crucial

-The mix for the meatloaf runs 3.20 a pound. I need 4 pounds.

-The bacon that covers it is about 2.00 a pound. I need 1/2 pound.

-The ribs are variable. Best quality stuff 4-5.00 a pound, specials depending. two racks run about 6 pounds total.

Everything else I currently have.

If I put out an amazingly-awesome-fucking-ribs-and-meatloaf jar, would you guys put in a buck or two?

I will try to drop in for part 2. Part 1 will consist of either meeting up with my family at a restaurant or buffet halfway, or Morbid and me doing something low key. I am just not feeling Thanksgiving dinner this year.
