Living Clean

Well as most of you know on here I'm been struggling to get clean and stay clean for the past couple years. This time around I made a few changes in my life. Believe it or not those changes have actually worked. i attend NA on a daily basis and get involved with it. I'm a trusted servent at my home group "Staying Clean in Recovery". I'm the GSR meaning the 2nd Sunday of every month i go tot he area meeting and make a report. Let everyone know in my home group whats going on in the area. Such as new events coming up, new policys, meeting changes and etc. I actually can walk into a meeting and people know who i am and ask how I'm doing and they generally care. it's a whole new feeling for me.

Any way I' coming up on 7months clean and sober on the 19th of this month amazing huh? I'm doing it and making ti stick this time. I feel amazing. Also if there's anyone on this site struggling or in recovery as well get a hold of me I'd love to help! Or here your experiences and see what woks for you.

It's good to be back guys! I missed all of you!

Once you get to that seven months it seems to become less difficult to stick to it. Just don't tempt it! I've seen so many addicts relapse on the "oh I can handle it just this once..." around friends, at a party, etc. Biggest advice I can give (but I'm sure you already know it). Good luck, here's to a happy and healthy future.
