I guess ya could consider me as "ghetto goth" as well, before I moved here in MI I grew up in a all black ghetto-neighborhood area in cinci OH and not a single white person in sight either, I moved out after I turned 15. I was the outcast there and I was a outcast here as well, I was more of a scrubbish wig back then, but now I have envolved in my true mystical goth form.

I use ta like alot of rap back then, but the reason I stopped listening to it was cuz I got tired of hearing about greed for money and how much the shit they were. The only reason I can listen to ICP though is cuz there not all about that bullshit, they rose from it and spoke there opinion not giving a fuck of whut anyone thinks, I also think its kewl somone would actually consider themselves scrubs and have a sick sence of humour adding it all into there lyrics. For example like fucking dead body's and pure slaughtering (full detailed) all the ignorant people in many ways. But of course there's alot more ta them than that though. Its not everyday ya would hear that kinda stuff in rap and thats the reason why I like ICP and I can be proud ta say im a juggalo because its all about being yourself not a follower :grin

I'll admit, the god thing is a bit discourage but oh well, we all have our diffrent beliefs so its all good hehe.

when i was younger i listend to icp alot, i went to there shows when tickets were $8.00, got thrown out of a few shows, and i enjoyed the music and some of it i still do.

Now a days as a mom, i find it obsurd that people are influcing there children with this, oh yeah like its healthy and productive to teach kids how to flip off every one in every direction, lets just teach our kids how to throw gang signs and be deliquints. I saw a pic on one of the Psychopathic web sites, of this kid holding a sign that said show me your tits, lets just create an asshole for future woman to detest. I have seen parents in this family smoke weed around there kids and get bilergerant drunk, among other things and i think it is just wrong. If you are an adult and this is what you enjoy well i have no problem with it, i have friends who are saving cash for the gathering, and i wish them alot of fun and good naughty times, hell for the experience alone and some of the gruops playing i would probally go if i could afford it and had some one to watch my kids, but i have to whole hardly dissagree with others and the idea that this is ok for children to be around. This type of thing just teaches children a pure lack of disrespect for alot of things, children need a good solid foundation of teachings befor they learn how to be a punk.

Other then that paint your self up which ever way you like, listen to who ever, put what ever you like on your car and have fun with it. Just dont ruin those who will be around to care for us when we are old.

on the M&M thing and other artists, i cant say i have a beef with any one whom i dont know, if i enjoy the song then i enjoy the song no matter who recorded it or where that person came from, or who hates that person. I take all music i listen to on a song by song basis, it is all supposed ot be about the music and talent right, not what these people do or dont do in there personal life.

Well different ppl have different taste in music and Im sure everyone here has atleast one favorite artist that is out of the goth genre of music, Just because for some of us that means hiphop, and not something else that is less anyoing to you , doesnt mean that its not good music to US. Im sorry you dont like hip hop thats your choice but i happen to like hip hop and respect it. And Just because its not your cup of tea doesnt mean you should go around bad mouthing it . Im a pretty nice person as everyone knows around here. In fact I don't listen to any goth aside from maybe 3 or 4 bands, so Apop and VNV Nation isn't really goth.

I am merely standing up for the rights of all Americans to excercise their constitutional rights to talk non goth even on goth boards.

I don't thinks that anyone has been able to define what "is" or "is not" "Gothic... although there has been many a flamewar trying to do just that. I think it is a matter of opinion, and in my opinion (and maybe only mine) ICP fits the bill, as well as Esham, Grave Diggas, and Natas, albeit all Gothic Rap (or Horror rap as I have heard it called)

They have the crow like make-up, they talk about undead/death/graveyards. There images are very spooky/halloween like, and they seem to hate almost everything... which sounds kinda goth to me.

ICP is ok as they write funny ass lyrics and at least represent the freak scene better than that poser (whats his name?) and I think the fude is just funny.

However... ICP used to stand for Inner City Possie as I understand it and considdering just about all of them come from "the burbs" they get about as much street cred as M.C. Hawking.

Add on top of that the fact that I hate most rap.

But Faygo Cola is cool, and ICP > MSI

MSI is complete and utter shit. as far as "Gothic/Industrial Rap" goes.

BTW just to clerify, under my definition of what is and is not gothic, ICP unfortunately fits the bill. However we hate to admit it and they're less gothic than Marylin Manson, technicly (whom we also hate to associate with the term "gothic"). They fit the definition because of lyrical content mostly. Of course most "juggalos" don't associate it with the term "Gothic" and use the term"Clown Core".

In comparison, ICP is to Ministry as Hot Topic is to Noir Leather (to further clerify it).

BTW anyone a fan of Zug Island (the band, not the actual island) in here? I actually think they have some tallent.
