Noir Retro W/ Scary Guy and Justin Carver

Recommended Posts

Free to get in, fairly priced drinks, and an awesome bar.

Not to mention 2 cool guys and good friends of mine are DJing

Justin Carver and Scary Guy

You will be sure to hear some awesome less heard stuff from Carver and the hits you all love from back in the day from Scary Guy.

Dont let another cool night die.

I will be there, so should you.

Damn gonna miss this one. Will most likely be out of town by the time it starts. Hoping to catch it again in the near future, possibly take you and saint on in a game of shuffleboard :D

I ended up going and staying the whole night. There were quite a few people about. Marc, Anthony, Jen (Pinknoise), some other cool people whose names I forget at the moment, and a nice assortment of randoms. Justin did the business on the turntables. Most of what he played wasn't well known, but the attentive will take note of at least some of it, I hope. SG kept to the hits but did very well on that front.

It was a fun night regardless.

Justins' record collection that he brought with him held so many great treasures (and that wasn't even everything). Perhaps the second best collection of stuff I have had the pleasure to flip through. (first place is held by my friend Nick who just seems to have every rare piece of vinyl you can think off). GREAT stuff.

Enjoyed the music selections...

Good conversations last night regarding music, the scene, guest DJ's, favorite Will Ferrel quotes, how damn cold it was and much more...

Nocker and I apparently need to step up our game in Table Shuffleboard... but we didn't have the proper shoes. Rematch for sure...
