Anyone Else Love to Draw Animals?

First, its not a furry thing -.- Please drop it. Second, its more of a spiritual thing. But my question is, who else see's themselves as an animal by soul? What is it? Mine is based on my first two Totem Animals, Main, a Fox, second one, a Skunk. So below (On my Signature), my friend, drew the image of it. Hence, I'm to lazy to draw lately. I had some issues on Deviant art, and it has knocked the drawing out of me, but below is an old photo of one of my favorite Poses in modeling...even though, I'd probably wear something a little more Suitable. But Because I suck at drawing Human Faces, I just draw my spirit into my Dream Modeling shoots.

there have been occasions where i have seen myself as a wolf in my dreams and i have been told by numerous people that i have the eyes of a wolf i guess that counts right

The Moose has always been my spirit animal. Large and powerful, no one animal wants to mess with one. It is also a gentle vegatarian, it wont hurt anyone that dont hurt it. They also have a long, sensual mating ritual they do before hand. They dont jump into the act like other animals. There is a courting period. I wish I could draw. My sister is an amazing wildlife artist.

Pencil Drawing / Painting (oils then acrylics and toward the end i was starting to dabble in eletronic media) was my primary focus from 2nd grade all the way through my first year in college (and the plan was for it to be my profession) Pretty much my whole life up until that point was focused on artwork of one sort or another. (had a really bad experience that sort of scared me away from art for many years although I've been tiptoeing back into it a bit recently)

I wouldn't say I loved drawing animals per-se I just liked drawing all sorts of things, including animals. I did start out drawing a ton of animals, usually more "cartoons" than naturalistic, at first. And when i say drawing i usually mean Pencil, something about just taking a pencil and a paper and creating something out of nothing in such a simple way. Although color illustrations sure do explode off the picture plane more than pencil does.

I do a comic about a lab rat. And while I love drawing I can't seem to draw a rat well to save my life.

I suspect that my spirit animal is a Jack Russell Terrier. Ever watch one of them run around and waste a lot of energy just being a spazz? Yeah, that's me.

LMAO Yes XD And if you have a site where you post your comic, please share :3

Well one would assume since many people call me Cat I would draw myself as a Cat but I actually have a thing for Owls. Silent predators that hunt in the night and have big round eyes and hoot. LOL. And they can turn their heads around almost all the way! Thats like exorcist shit there haha! If I were to choose a specific breed I would have to say snowy owl. I love them not because of Hedwig from Harry Potter but because they really are beautiful and now rare. It might also come from being a northerner and the whole michigan snow and cold thing as well. I may not live there anymore but it is where I was born and raised so the memories and experiences will always be there. Now time go to eat a mouse and regurgitate a owl pellet LOL. Not a attractive aspect of owl nature.

Oh and I forgot to mention I am a artist so I have painted, drew and sculpted snowy owls. I may have to make one the represents me now though!
