Unemployed and looking

Recommended Posts

Chernobyl is in need of work and will do almost anything for money but prostitution/stripping (sorry, I know, total let down and all ). Told Pest he should go down to Danny's or the Male Box and shake his shit to earn me some money, 'cause he has a super hot body and all, but that conversation did not go over very well .

But...in all seriousness, I need a job. Preferably full-time. PREFERABLY NOT GIRLY WORK!!!! I'm sick of working in a fucking office, I will if I HAVE to, but I'd rather do some hard labor with dudes. I'd even do fast food or serving.

Problem is, a lot of these places, especially sole proprietors, don't always advertise in snagajob/papers/craigslist/internet/etc. The only way to know if they are hiring is to drive past, and you know, funny part is that being unemployed you don't get gas money to drive around aimlessly for hours trying to spot these places.

If anyone sees any "Now hiring" signs posted on a business, I'm just asking that you post it here or PM me about it. The sooner I get a job, the richer I become, and the more you will see me. I may have a job lined up with my buddy, James, lined up in a factory making car parts. He's almost certain he can get me in, which would be totally dicks of him. But, I'm always a two-steps-ahead kind of person and just in case this falls through, I'd like some backups.

It would be totally amazing of anybody who posts something. Just the name of the business and where it's located. I can drive almost all over Macomb County, would PREFER to stay below Hall Road because the people living above that line tend to be rude as hell because they have all of $400,000 in life savings, but walk around like they're Bill Fuckin' Gates or some shit. Not all, but a sizable amount do, I worked up there for years, trust me I know. I'd rather work in a rough-ish (ish meaning not, you know, Brightmoor or Krainz Woods ) neighborhood than up above the Money Line. Oakland County is fine if it's not a huge hike (I live in Warren). Wayne County MAY be workable depending on the area, as I mentioned before.

This thread is posted in non-yellow to convey the utmost of seriousness (or at least as serious as I'm capable of being outside of a job interview). Thanks ahead of time for anybody wanting to help out.

Me needs a job too!

YOU CANNOT HAVE! THEY'RE MINE!!!

 (j/k)

Funny story though, that job I was talking about my buddy getting me into, my roommate Tom is like "WOW, really? I'm qualified for that like no other! Where is this place? I want to put in an app."

I won't tell him what company or where it is because I want that job. Every man for himself in this market, you know? Guy already HAS a job anyway, why is he trying to steal a potential one from me?

Yeah, but if I got paid to eat as much as I could and drink as much beer as can fit in my stomach, I'd probably already be pretty fuckin' rich. Just sayin'. I'd normally agree that this is a great suggestion, but I don't understand how it's applicable to my current situation. But I'm still flattered either way .

Everyone can stop looking. I have a legit work at home job now. Legit meaning it's A) legal, B) Pays money (I know b/c Pest's mom has been doing it for awhile) and C) I qualified for. It's through a company called liveops, and basically what they do is they contract people to work from home that are qualified to take orders. People that call in for programs/products get routed to us to take the orders, so I never have to make a single cold call (I HATE that kind of sales). Pest's mom makes enough money doing it to keep her apartment and bills paid, which is waaaaay more than my expenses (I pay like $100 - $150 a month depending on the utilities, with no rent). Also, as some of you may have noticed, I have officially beaten the system and can now wear whatever crazy fucking shit I want and tie a bunch of colorful out-there hair and accessories to my head now. Fuck yeah. Free at last!

I also had to upgrade my Comcast because I need a designated phone line that ISN'T a cell phone, and it was actually cheaper to get cable with a phone line then to get cable by itself. I have no idea wtf kind of company you're running over there, Phee, but I like it . Now I can drone out watching The Weather Channel for hours on end like I did the last time I had cable four or five years ago. The down part is that our buddy Mike is going to be lonely on Wednesday nights when we don't come over for new South Park anymore.

Thank you Cher.... as you know I am personally responsible for all of the parts of the company you like, and everything you don't, is someone else's fault.

So PHEE. Supposed to be here between 1pm and 4pm, huh? That right? It's 3:15, your dude is getting dangerously close to crossing the customer dissatisfaction boundary. Is he ever going to arrive? And why do you slackers need a THREE hour time frame? I thought it took Constantin forever to get anywhere...pffft! Not anymore, and that's bad because it takes him no less than an hour and a half from being fully ready to leave sitting in his computer chair to actually walking out the front door. As CEO of Pheecast, how do you plan to remedy this problem? Free cable? Hooking me up with all those channels that come in fuzzy that I used to stare at for hours when I was a kid trying to make out what I could ? Hmmm? Answers, Phee, I demand themmmm *angry fist shake*

It's been going awesome so far . Will be better when I can get more of the prime shifts and stuff to sell, but I'm a rookie so I'm at the bottom when it comes to all that. Still pretty decent though to start, have like eight and a half hours scheduled for tomorrow and two for Monday. Still seeing on the rest of the week. I was a little nervous at first just because a lot of it was overwhelming, but when you get practice in it gets easier and you get used to it.
