Servitor Sanctum 7 and Oppfor January 29th

Recommended Posts

Leland City Club and The Collective present the return of our dear friend Sean of Servitor Sanctum 7 wsg Oppfor. Scary Guy will be spinning in the Ballroom as well. January 29th is also Doc's birthday. Come out and hear two great bands, a great DJ, and get in line to spank Doc. Why ninjas, pirates, and robots? Because we felt like it. Actually, our Bowling Green friends did a ninja vs pirates party last year in Bowling Green and we thought it was a blast. So come dressed up, leave your weapons at home please. We hope to have a tug of war, photographer, and pass out some free stuff as well. Remember, to leave your cameras at home.

Spread the word!

We hope to see you there!

Tonight! Servitor Sanctum's new album will also be fore sale! Oppfor will also be releasing their new album soon. I'm very proud of both bands. They have really stepped up their game as far as putting out quality local music. Our bands within the Collective work very hard to put on the best shows that they can. If there are bands that you would like to see, email me and I will do what I can. Right now, I'm negotiating VNV Nation, Combichrist, Skinny Puppy, and Peter Murphy's people for 4th of July weekend next year for Detroit's very own electronic, industrial, goth music festival. This will be a 3 day weekend event with many bands, DJ's, and other performers with vendors selling all sorts of fun stuff as well. We have the location and several performers already lined up for this what we hope to be the first in many festivals. We need your help though. We need you to come out and spread the word about our shows. These guys don't get paid much, they do it because they love to entertain the rest of you. Please come out and support the bands as well and hear the best DJs in Detroit spin. Oppfor will go on sometime between 11:30-12 and Servitor Sanctum 7 will go on at 1pm. Scary Guy will be spinning your requests as well in the Ballroom with music videos.

More details coming soon for the following show at the Leland:

Feb: 26th "Love Sucks Anti Valentine party"

D:Konstruct will record a live DVD and shoot a music video wsg: Red This Ever, Stromkern's side project Dark Clan, and Cynergy 67, hosted by DJ Dark Choir from Bowling Green and Pleasure Kitten. The first 30 people at the door for this show will get a special ticket that will get them a copy of the DVD when it is completed

March TBA St. Patty's Celebration with Strangeling and others...

Before the end of the year, we will be trying to set up shows with Caustic, Bella Morte, Android Lust, and many more.

Wie will continue to do shows in the Ballroom at the Leland and work to bring you the best bands and DJ's that we can offer. Please come show your support and keep this scene going. If you have questions, come see me the Director.

People have asked who should I go to for questions or setting up shows, that would be me for the Leland CC events.

Thank you and see you tonight!

Huge thanks to everyone that came out this weekend. I was pretty damned surprised. Those of you who were there can attest to the fact that Detroit peoples represented, and a lot of them were DGN'ers. The ballroom had a LOT of peoples and the place got pretty wild with a lot of hollering and dancing.

It's awesome to see that there are people who will brave the economy and the elements to see local bands. I appreciate your support very much.

Booking more shows for the near future, so hope to see you then :)

Well, I'm sure I'll see some of you sooner.
