In the planning stages for some time now, it is with great enthusiasm that we can finally announce the start of INDUSTRIAL Tuesdays!

INDUSTRIAL Tuesdays takes place at Mars Bar - a brilliant clean new venue opened in June of 2010 in the heart of Hamtramck.

Artsy and urban, with a dance friendly vibe ever present, Mars Bar is designed to transport you away from your everyday routine

and into a place that is versatile with great sound. A place where you can chill, relax and enjoy your night out.

Beginning February 22 and continuing every Tuesday,

DJ Nocker [Former Dead-Line and Censor resident DJ] along with DJ Saint [City Club DJ 2002-2010, Dead-Line resident and more]

will feature a non-stop mix of the latest and the greatest industrial, coldwave, EBM, future-pop, goth, noise and synthpop music (and videos) for your dancing/listening pleasure.

INDUSTRIAL Tuesdays aims to offer the community a modern night that will focus on exposing new music, up and coming bands and diverse sounds

through an eclectic and varied music mix that will also include your familiar favorites as well.

Doors at 10 pm and lasting until 2 a.m.

Public Parking is available on Jos Campau or the public parking lot located directly across the street behind “Shoppers World”.

21+ admitted with proper ID.

Beers, shooters, martinis, wine and signature drinks available.

Absinthe is occasionally on the menu.

Drink specials throughout the night.

Admission is FREE!

Sounds like this could be a really cool night, good luck with it. Sadly I will not be able to go for the first couple of weeks due to me getting jaw surgery opening night.

Good luck with that jaw surgery. If you'd learn to block that mug of yours in all those boxing matches you get in, you wouldn't need the jaw surgery ;)

I like how it is called. "INDUSTRIAL NIGHT" The plainly obvious no BS of it is very refreshing... I get a little tired of a flyer reading... "DARK MATTER MACHINE GHOST WAVE.... A NIGHT OF INDUSTRIAL/EBM/NOISE/GOTHIC/DARKWAVE/TRIPHOP/DEATHROCK/PSYCHOBILLY/DARKBLUEGRASS w/Spooky bikini contest...."

You go there to hear industrial... because it says so on the poster... *nods*

LoL, Yes there will be industrial, but for all the snobs out there (myself included), you will hear stuff from all the little sub-genres. I pride myself on proving that all the genres can be mixed together and sound good.

There will be no bikini contests though, but girls can show up in a bikini and we wont be mad ;)

Hopefully it will be a bit warmer on the 22nd.... a whole bunch of tattooed goth chicks dying from frostbite on the way to the club although making good lyrics for a Combichrist song would suck for business.

Yea it is frustrating... 2 reasons that I can think of...

1, most places dont have an open Saturday.

2, competing with City Club probably would not work.

The pictures of the bar are fucking swank. I'm going to TRY my absolute hardest, the problem surprisingly enough is NOT money, but rather Pestilence works early Wednesdays. But Hamtramck is so insanely close to us, maybe going down here and there for a few hours for a drink or two wouldn't be out of the question.

It would be cool to see you, Ill play some cool new tunes for ya to check out! I do know there will be drink specials but I dont know what they are just yet.

Ya dont have to close the bar, but you should come hang for a few :)
