Five days ago my 13 year old nephew asked me if it was possible to be reincarnated if you believe in god. Seeing as how the religious views in my family are very wide spread i was not sure how to answer him. My mom is Catholic, my dad is nondenominational, one sister a mormon, one sister a baptist, and i'm wiccan. Any ideas on how to answer the guestion at hand without upsetting any other family members?

My answer would be: "What I believe is not important compared to what conclusions you come up with on your own."

I always explain that science has never fully explained either argument. There is scientific evidence for and against both arguments, so I would tell a child that nobody knows for sure what happens, but while you're here whatever belief system you have that isn't harmful to yourself or others and is actually YOUR beliefs (not pushed on you by someone else) is legit enough.
