This article really touched some spots in me. I'm tremendously thankful for the fact that I don't often have to choose between food and clean diapers these days, but there have been times in the past when circumstances have led me near that point, and I fully understand the crippling feeling of jitters and nakedness that these poor souls are going through. Although nothing could undercut the extraordinary heroism of those organizing this diaper drive, I do earnestly hope and pray that such organizers possess enough tolerance and general empathy to recognize the equally compelling needs of financially destitute adult babies and DL's when providing such assistance.

Diaper Drive Happening Now in Three Northern Michigan Counties

A big expense for new parents is undoubtedly the endless diapers.

So, the Grand Traverse County Baby Pantry is holding a regional diaper drive the entire month of April.

People can donate diapers in Grand Traverse, Antrim and Leelanau counties.

They will go to needy families in the county they are donated.

This makes it so families don't have to choose between food or clean diapers.

There are several drop off locations, including Tom's Food Markets, Oleson's Food Stores and Glen's Markets.
