Enjoying the pictures.  (couldn't quote them all or it would be a wall and my text would get lost.  

 

Wish I could get you to The Gathering.   They wouldn't be "art" but I'd like to get a TON of pictures of the gathering(s) from the moment you are walking in the door, new people show up, people leave, then you leave... from everyone, but your probably one of the few guys I could get to do it.   I'd like to do a still-picture sort of "ken burns" type documentary segment on my gathering videos but there are never enough angles to do it.

There are 2 people coming from river rouge who said that they could give me a ride.  Rev and his friend.  I'm cool with that just need to be sure that I have money for tea and I can bring a small camera or the DSLR to take pics.

Yes, I have a Canon T3 DSLR and was using a 55mm - 250mm telephoto lens.  I am glad I know how to work the manual settings.

Took this pic 3 years ago.  Love the effect of the setting sun on the clouds.  Look carefully and you'll see the sun behind the trees in the lower right corner.

At first glance, we thought smoke from a cigarette but I wasn't smoking when I took the pic to avoid this from happening.  So just have to guess.
