Sorry i didnt see this post earlier... sort of the "standard goth club" in detroit is City Club (see the sticky posts at the top of the Nightlife section we have a gathering there every sunday) Monday nights there is Necto (see the DGN Calendar for info) and Wed night Mephistos or Luna (DGN Calendar also)

If you live close enough, are old enough (18+ for City Club) and/or are ever in town you  may want to check out "DGN Night" on saturdays. (two pinned topics near the top, one for "whos going" the other for "who went last week?".

You'll find all the good places in here. Ask CRANK I think he still goes to some metal shows. There was Harpos and Irock, but I usually go to City club or Mephistos.

I would love to attend a concert at Harpos if it is still open but am afraid to go. Its a little bit of a rough crowd from what I hear.

We have a little free newpaper here called "Metro times" at record stores or bookstores on Wed or thurs....it has all of the club/bar/concert happenings. Of coarse Ozzfest is always a good bet.

My husband is from Germany but doesn't speak much now. We love raimstien.....he he.
