Troy Spiral (13)
Not as geeked as I might have been in years past since these days I usually wait until a whole season of something is over and then watch it all at once. Especially nowadays were most shows are going to the "serliezed" (ala Lost/BSG etc) format were the stories aren't self contained (star trek/Twilight Zone etc) I'll admit not being as rabid a fan of torchwood as some other shows. Although I'll watch it all at some point (something I cant say about its forerunner, for some reason, and its nothing to do with the length of time its been running.) Still mourning the loss of BSG/Caprica/Firefly I'm afraid of starting another relationship. haha
BloodStainedParadise
I am... cautiously optimistic about Miracle Day. Russel T. Davies is onboard as a writer (surprisingly, after his DW departure), so that is encouraging. And with both John Barrowman and Eve Myles returning, Miracle Day -could- be good. But I have reservations about the American setting. I guess I shall just wait until it premieres and see some reviews.
Dubh Aingeal
Drive by posting. Yes I am excited, but like Troy I am tending to watch whole seasons at one time. The whole not having any cable/sat kind of hinders the weekly waiting for the next fix to come along.
Kachie
The last time that Torchwood was on, it aired for 5 days in a row, and it was better that way. Some of my friends that watched all of the last mini-series Children of Earth, in one day, said that it felt less suspenseful and a little bit boring. Which makes sense, cause there was a lot of government "what are we gonna do?" talks. I am a bit excited because of the amount of returning cast, and I always believe in Russell T. Davies. I don't think I am going to love it as much as I love the original two seasons of Torchwood, but I am curious and happily surprised that they have found more to do with the show. BloodStainedParadise
Watched the first episode last night. It was pretty decent, though it was mostly back story for people who haven't seen the original series. Still, intriguing.
Jinx
Thought it was good. Excited for 9 more weeks of it.
