Still could use a logo/mascot graphic like the Juggalo's "Hatchetman" for DGN. Been wanting one for a long time.

We should have an incentive program, like a contest I suppose, for people to come up with a logo and send it in. I'd say we could offer a cash prize for the most badass idea, but I don't think DGN has funding for that right now, so we will have to go with the "receive a rub/tug job from the moderator of your choice" prize.

I've met a lot of nice ones a few are friends, but for whatever reason there does seem to be a stigma attached to it. You'd be suprized how many DGNers are into ICP. (I never gave them a serious listen but I don't discount the possibility.)

In this particular case I wasn't making a comment about juggalos (my comment above) just that the logo they have is very distinct and indientifiable , would be nice to have something similar for DGN (like the Nike Swoosh or the Dead Kenedy's Symbol (which actually fits with the DGN letters reasonsbly closely now that I'm thnking about it) The NIN logo might be a good idea-fountain too. (read rip off lol)

Good idea. At one time we could have afforded a cash prize but we cant at the moment, basicly for the same reason I'm always mentioning, just lack of bodies / promotion, once you hit a critical mass , and keep the overhead low, the donations are plenty to cover costs like this, unforutnaely we are not in that situaiton (financially) at the moment.

Don't get me wrong I have met a few decent ones on occasion...but not nearly enough to make me think better of their kind. Most of the seem to come to concerts just to start shit...working security for a venue I had to drag quite a few of them out of the place while they rattled off gradeschool insults and use the "n" word more times than I care to think about.

A friend of mine went to the gathering once to see some bands he liked and he was disgusted at the behavior. If half of what he described was true then I would much rather attend a nazi-skinhead Oi concert wearing a pink dress.

Sure the idea behind the logo is nice and if you strip down the very basic values it is ok...but then again the same could be said for violent gangs, extreme religious groups, and Starbucks. All I see is a misguided group perpetuating insanely lewd behavior while making it a goal to offend as many people as possible and wearing face paint. Cudos to most other subcultures but this...thing...has gone too far.

All that being said I vote that the DGN logo should either be Mr. Death, will post a pic later, or else the wonderful face of Gary Busey to show that we can cover every level of insanity that exists...
