Bar for donation tracker

There used to be a bar when the donation tracker was first put in that kept track of how much it costs monthly to run this place and also how far we are into reaching that goal. It's gone now, any reason? I personally thought it was a good idea to have it.

The idea there was that its a monthly goal of "this is the minimum amount we need" and once thats (for sure) reached the bar disappears and then re-appears the next month. Numbers like $40 a month from direct donations and say $40 a month from benefactor / supporter donations (80 total) (a goal we are far from atm) would be my (current) ideal, $40 is sort of the "bare bones minimum for us to be safe) but there is endless room for expansion.

There is NO amount that wouldn't help, say someone donated a 100 Million Dollars, well then, 3-6 months from then a new club would open up called Club DGN and there would be a country wide-media blitz to get the word out about said club (and its associated super cool website) then swallowing all the other quasi-goth clubs whole. Goths from around the country would probably start to move to Detroit.

I always have had the goal of wanting to have around $300 of "reserve" money (which we have never actually had) to use for various types of unforeseen costs (massive bandwidth spikes that happen every once in a blue moon, additional promotion stuff, new non-free addon software , the list could go on for awhile..)

The donation bar is there just to make sure we get the minimum costs covered for that month. I'm open to other ideas on how to do that, its a brand new thing, and only two people have actually donated using it, so its a work in progress.

Theoretically you can set multiple goals and have multiple "goal bars" for specific costs of specific things, but at the moment there is no specific things in mind, as we need to get the street team back up running and build up said reserve cash, get some new DGN cards before we start thinking about anything beyond that. Platinum/Yellow DGN Signet Rings for uber-ultra Street Team members (don't exist as yet)?

Actually I'm going to move this out into the public area, I'd be interested if anyone else is wondering about this, might inform me about changes to how it works depending on the feedback.
