CoD Black Ops new map pack

Recommended Posts

Shit gives me a huge boner

Anyone buy it and play it yet? We're always looking for some Black Ops players, both Multi-player and SHANGRI-LA (NEW ZOMBIE MAP PACK THAT IS FUCKING NEOTZ!).

Fucking...now every time I hear Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter, whether it be in an elevator, my car, in a store, or some older people's backyard...I get goosebumps .

Got up to 6 on Shangri-La by myself, 9 with the boyfriend. I think his top so far is 13. It's fucking GROSSELY intricate and well planned...it's fucked up. Such a challenging map.

The only multi-player map I've gotten to play is Drive-In, which feels very similar to Nuketown in tactic and size. I rolled some fucking face when I hopped on it the first time, got second on the leader boards and I haven't played anything but Zombies in months.

I think I love their marketing department, because they are able to take ordinary people and put them in epic soldier situations. Like this for instance, when it FIRST came out:

We're ALL Burger Man .

I dont get why they have some burger joint guy as some kinda advertising mascot, also I dont have first strike or annhilation plus I hate zombie's (the zombie's are retarded strong to kill which, it should be like in the movies one shot to the head it's dead). But I do play black ops.

Because, playing off of the original advertising campaign, their slogan is "There's a soldier in all of us" and so they picked him because he's such an ordinary-everybody type. The sort of person who works hard doing some job that may not be the most rewarding or exciting, and gets to come home and pretend to be something badass via gaming. Not everyone in the commercial, however, is the ordinary-type, there are some wealthy sorts and celebs, enforcing that even people not in "ordinary" life mode, living what most would consider exciting and/or unusual lives, need a little make-believe escape also.

They could have probably picked any character from the commercial, but they probably picked Burger Man because the fans liked him the most. Call of Duty's developers have always been eerily fan responsive. There have been times we'd be playing and saying "_______ would be awesome to put on a map" or "Imagine if they ever put ________ in Nazi Zombies.." and then the NEXT map pack would be released with many of the things we'd discussed implemented. I think they listen to us on the mics :fear::unsure:...conspiracy!

Since CoD World At War, fans have been speculating and tossing around rumors, which were not based on much factual evidence (only small clues in zombie level, Der Reise), that there would be an Area 51 map.

WELL...one game and four map packs later...WE'VE GOT IT:

It doesn't take place entirely in Area 51, it only begins there, and you are quickly forced to run into a transporter to the moon because Earth has been overrun with multiple copies of portal zombies, hellhounds, gas crawlers, etc.
