YAR. I was definitely there. And left around 3:30 due to drunk-ness. It was time. Drunk Victoria needed to go home and sleep and de-drunkify. it was lovely seeing all of you, and hopefully I was not too drunk to function!

We had a fabulous time! TitsMcGee came into town and came out with AstralCrux~Yayz!! Saw lots of DGN'rs, and had a riot boob shaking with the ladies, lol. Of course, with me, I have to bounce me whole body to get these puppies shakin'~they can't just do it themselves, lol. Only had enough energy to dance a few songs because it was so hot. Anytime I get to dance to Siouxsie makes it a great dance night, though.

There were a couple douche-douches, but nothing too severe, so it was a fantastic night all around

So glad we go to see so many people out and about that night!

Lessee, what did I do... I met Troy, Chernobyl, Pestilence, and VictoriaVengeance for the first time. I danced more than I think I've ever danced in one night, and had the most sober fun I've had in a while! I think Troy and I talked for about an hour and a half lol. I didn't hit up the smoking section, so I may have missed a lot of the people I normally hang out and talk with, but I have at least twice as many people to chill with next Saturday! :D

That was the best night I had since i came out of the cave and started going out more regularly. The whole principle of going out regularly, to the same place and developing sort of "a group" over time, still holds. (And that generally drying up if you stop going).

I walked in the door and I think sybil looked at the guest list for my name (i know its not there, since if shes not there I have to pay to get in) even though 4 bucks isnt a big deal, its just nice to have some mild recognition of 10 years of promoting CC. I always wonder what you have to do to get on that list if I haven't done whatever it is yet. A few years worth of my CC promotion were on the radio which, just a "mention" can cost as much as $500 , and I did that week after week after week of my own motivation, along with you know... this place. Anyhow that was a good sign.

Yes little stuff can make me happy.

I got in the door and there was a half dozen people I knew (that are "on" DGN, although that just means they signed up.) so I'm chatting away with them, and someone that I thought was LittleMissLuckyCunt puts their arm around me and squeezes, then I look down and its my friends ex wife who as far as I can remember I've not seen at CC or talked to in like what... 3 years(?) That was out of the blue, not that I mind was just a shock.

Once I got in the place a bit I literally planted myself in "the dgn corner" and grew roots for 2 hours, which started out with me staring at the dance floor for a half hour and talking to random people while trying to stay calm, but it picked up pretty quickly.

Unfortunately my memory for names is still on the epic fail level, especially with the ever-present massive stimulus-overload competing for brain matter.

*searches memory banks* People I actually talked to rather than just 'saw' (and that have a reasonable likelihood that they'll see this)....

Victoria - Friendly and funny as always.

Cher - Yayyyyyyyy , finally. Honestly felt a lot more comfortable having you around. Dead serious.

Pestilence - see above X2 !

Pleasurekatzen - Breif but nice as always. Damn bar seems like a kat-prison that I cant get visitation rights to. hah.

Lilly - Great talking & meeting you. Hope it happens more often. Sweetheart & smart. Only time I think I've ever heard "telescope" and "astrophysics" in CC. Awesome.

Shawn - We haven't known each other long but its nice to have a wing man , and one that is on the same page with me about so many different ideas.

LittleMissLuckyCunt - Hey common I thought I was doing good with the proper response to "whats my name!??" I didnt know there was a bonus round, I'll try better next time. *hangs head*

Electrosonic - Friendly easy going guy per usual. Glad to see you at the bottom of the stairs.

Nightgaunt - Hopefully the fight against the man will be successful. I had a similar situation like 10 years ago (at least somewhat similar) but I just gave in.

Arron - You said something that I had planned on making some wise ass remark to here, but I cant for the life of me remember WTF it was. Ugh /fail. lol

Iris - Glad you knew right away what I was talking about, soon as I said it I thought maybe I didnt make the point correctly. Good to see you out.

I'm sure I'm missing people I always do. Probably another 10 names I could put on here that I "saw" but, i'm sure i'm also missing people that I talked to blah, but I'm getting better , I think.

I was told that TitsMcgee was there but try as I might I never did find her (unless my brain is REALLY) failing me.

I think I've given up on going through a whole night without running into at least one or two people that are sort of ass hats , even if its just mild. Yay another night hearing some nonsense third-hand about me based on imperfect information, lol. Just have to realize it sort of goes along with meeting/talking to a ton of people, in various states of mental awareness and new people you have no way of knowing what to expect (and people that don't bother to question what they hear).

But really, haven't actually had what I'd call a proper "fun" time at CC in ages, I'm always glad I went, its just typically more work than it is fun but I really did have a good time. Despite the blast furnace (although it not being a tar-fueled blast furnace these days probably helps).

Glad I went AND had a good time (two different things). If i managed to rub anyone the wrong way (I don't think I did but i'm bad at noticing subtleties) it was not intentional, even people I'm sort of frustrated with, I hope everyone is doing good and continues to do so.

Yeah that cancer chamber is a great place to socialize, if you don't go there you miss out on like 33% of the socializing!
