Magic the Gathering Goes Goth

Recommended Posts

Its no secret I'm an on again off again magic nerd, (although I don't actually spend much money on it anymore, i just do the ghetto system pf printing proxieson good paper.) So the age old problem of MTG being too expensive is generally negated. (although decent paper / card sleves will run you like $25.

The newest set on its way (and the last set) have had the most "dark themed" vampiric/zombie/bloodthirst type cards yet take as a whole.

INNISTRAD (M12)

(really have it nicely laid out from a Graphic Design standpoint)

yeah, this card is ridiculous.

ignore the person's name on it, no clue who that is

but in all seriousness, I've found the quality of recent full decks have deterred. I just can't do it. I prefer to make mine bit by bit- I'm rocking an awesome discard deck lately; no one plays me without getting rid of half their deck in five minutes :D

Holy crap someone replied to one of my MTG posts. (I make these every so often but since people arent awesome like me they don't have the cool-points to reply to them).

Nice card lol. Back in ye olden days, before we were on this message board system (so i cant search for it /sniffles) there was a girl whos name I cant remember had a card with a special power called "Gothic attention whore": you must, every phase, TRY and tap the card, this card has protection from tapping unless you pay 100 attention tokens , the tokens which you could only get by forfeiting the game.

But seriously, you must just be playing against chumps. Well that is if your even playing real magic. (multiplayer is for scrubs :p ) Decks are stronger now than they have ever been... well at least mine are. /rawr
