Etalimissa
what style of music have you always wished you could sing? what, if any, band would you like to be able to join in on as their lead singer? of course this means you would magically be given the talent to perform the lead singer duties. as far as i am concerned, i am not sure which band i would like to be able to trade places with and become the lead singer for a week. i do adore many bands but most have male lead singers. now the lead singer of within temptation has a beautiful voice. Ofra Haza and Kvitka Cisyk had angelic voices but they are now truly angels above....... i wanted to learn to sing opera as a 12-13 year old. thus, this is my answer. if i had the talent to sing any style of music possible i would love to be able to sing classical, operatic music. and that would mean being able to speak and sing Italian and German also

I can sing A LOT, but there is no way in hell I am good enough to sing her stuff.

Class-Punk
In the vein of The Sound, Sad Lovers and Giants, The Names, M83 (not so much the vocals), Asylum Party, PiL, with a mix of crooning/baritone and punkier vocals that are more like PiL's & The Sound, with more than one vocalist when appropriate, and good sounding orchestral and other synth elements. That's pretty much an archetype for the music I want to make someday (not to mention hear). I'd definitely need to learn more guitar, and get out of my shell and get a singing teacher, mainly for falsetto help.

Simon Bar Sinister
I've learned to accept my singing voice, but I'd love to be able to sing like this...even if for just one day: ^ the way he sings at full blast the first line of the chorus still stuns me. I'd also like to be able to sing Qawwali style, as well as sing in Spanish, Portugese and Gaelic.
DJ Nocker
I find vocals/lyrics to be fairly irrelevant in the music I love. Which is great because when I finally get the confidence to start my own thing this fall (my goal), I wont have troubles.
phee
I find vocals/lyrics to be fairly irrelevant in the music I love. I am pretty much the same way... the voice is an instrument in the countless arsenal of instruments... It is no more or less important to the music then the other parts IMO.
