I have two favorite makeup pieces. One, is the part of a lipstick container that you twist to make the product come out and you twist the other way to make it go back in. I could play with that piece for hours. My other favorite piece is the poofy disk thingy that comes with some blushes. I like playing Frisbee with that piece.

water proof eyeliner for the brows is important. the last thing you need is to rub your eyebrows or have the make up melt on a 90 degree day  i found a way to remove the "8-12 hour" lipsticks years ago and it's a simple chap stick or any lip balm. so it's good you found something to remove it from your brows. i'd like to find some new purple or pink blush. will have to try spencers.

Make-Up Forever black, sparkly eye shadow. I can use an eyeliner brush and make it look like liquid eyeliner, a smudge brush, and get the smoky eye look, a shading brush to get a regular dark eye shadow look, or a slanted brush to get very light pigment and lots of glitter. I almost never use eye pencils anymore, since I can get a smoother look with eye shadow and the right types of brushes.

I will probably cry when my Lancome juicy tube bolole' lip gloss runs out because it's my favorite color and they don't make it any more, plus it smells and tastes like bubblegum, and all the other colors I have found similar to it in different brands smell gross and are greasier.

I used to love photogenique blemish concealer, also by Lancome, that they discontinued. Their new one isn't nearly as good, so I am on the look out for a good one.

I love Dior's spray on foundation, I can't remember the name of it, but, even for a make-up snob like me, it's hard to justify spending almost $70 on one piece.

I think i probably mean something less technical than it sounds. =P

the "very heavily done eyes" could be just about any color combination I guess, but usually it seems to be on the dark side when I notice it.

when i have the overly done eyes it's usually emerald green, fuschia, or sapphire blue. i did the dark gray, silver, and black in the 80's and don't do it so much now. now if i had somewhere to wear it to.....i'd do it.

my boyfriend realized that he can make an 'eyebrow stamp' out of them if it's hot out. :| i was not amused, le sigh

i guess that's better than the running eye make up which is dripping down your face, which i've seen at times. don't you just hate the lipsticks which bleed or feather? at the end of the day one looks like Robert Smith! now on him it was cute but not on us ladies. i like the new lipsticks which do not feather.

A facial vortex of smokey entangling blackness, +whatever-happens (-pink, you'll never see me do...that :ralph).

I use whatever brand I have both the cash and taste for at the moment, and don't use it how it's probably supposed to be used. Oh, and I use non-makeup substances sometimes because I can, I guess, and usually because it helps reach whatever effect I'm going for.

I don't use foundation unless I have a shiner or my face is blotchy-red from throwing up. I'm glad I don't need it otherwise, that would suck having to wear that cake-face stuff. I used to put it on in junior/high school, because I was classically trained to think that every girl needed to wear it no matter what at all times. Then I realized that teenage girls can be stupid and the clever marketing departments at Covergirl and Maybelline are well aware of this. I also realize how ridiculous it is to be THAT obsessed with every minor imperfection, and began seeing makeup as more of an (not entirely) artistic endeavor rather than a corrective procedure. There's a degree of covering up and enhancement, but some take it waaaay too far, and I'm one of those recovering .

One of the most essential things I have to wear is mascara, because my eyelashes are almost blonde, and on a backdrop of dreary dark smudging mixed with deeply bold colors, they never fail to ruin my life look. Sadly, I hardly have any favorites left anymore because I guess I've been neglecting to restock my cosmetics collection for the past few years. Stuff can be expensive, so being perpetually broke for the longest time obviously didn't help.
