I am offering this job here to all of you first. I am disabled and have a caregiver. My "problem" is 19 operations since birth and just chronic pain in general. I have a back injury and have had 13 foot operations so those are my major problems. I never learned to drive due to 2 head injuries which made me dizzy and now on pain meds I'm worse and would never be able to drive. I have had a caregiver for a year now but she wishes to quit and move on to her other "real" job on a full time basis (teaching). I need someone who needs a bit of extra cash but is NOT doing it for the money. Those types always want to quit once something else comes along. I need someone who can take me shopping every week, cut the grass every 2 weeks or so (my lawn mower is on the rocks and if you have one that is best), and rake the leaves in the fall. Some light housework may be needed IF time allows and shoveling of snow in the winter. The hours are just 7 per week and the pay is minimum wage ($7.50 or $8.00--not sure). Many caregivers get $6-7 per hour but some demand much more (and never get it) for just sitting around and doing tedious, hot, sweaty housework. I would need someone available to me once a week. I really wanted TWO days the first week and one day the rest of the month but we'll see. It's so much on me to do it all in one day. It is the easiest job in the world. You do not need to lift a 300 lb person in and out of the tub. You do not need to change adult diapers. You do not need to dress or medicate. Many adults need these things done but not me. I iterate, I am physically disabled and need help with things which would be physically challenging to me. I am not on drugs but am on pain meds. I do not smoke and desire a non smoker or at least one who will not light up around me. I also desire a lady and one who is not on the phone all day long. I would like my caregiver to treat this like a real job and respect me and keep off the phone as she would at any real job. I also need to state that NO KIDS are allowed. If kids come along that will break my contract for you to get paid. I am seeking a lady who is over 30 and is not bogged down with little kiddies at home since they CANNOT come along and often get in the way of jobs. I am just fine with a senior. Ideally a housewife who needs something to do and a bit of extra cash is what I need! Now, my problem is that I am in Westland (Wasteland) and no one is near me. I am right by metro airport. If the distance is a problem now I can assure you it will only get more tedious for you so I want my future caregiver to be polite and not jump at this opportunity just for the pay check but rather also to help someone in need. I would like a bare minimum of a one year commitment since it took me 3-4 months to find a replacement last time (CL kept kicking off all my ads since they are like that now). Thank you. If you are interested (and I'd like to find a kindred spirit here) drop me a line with your phone number. Etalimissa

Crap, I'm told some people can't read long posts so I am breaking it up into a few shorter ones now:

part deux of the re-post for those who can't see it all:
