No, it's because they heard I was stopping off in Ann Arbor later.

lol

For serious. My friend woke me up this morning by calling me to warn me about the game and how it may interfere with my route to Necto.

I was just wondering if VV and I should look into other ways of getting there.

Not sure, hopefully josh or marc will post with further info.

If there's a concern about Main Street then take Hwy 14 west to US-23 south and take Plymouth Rd into downtown. Plymouth merges into Broadway. From Broadway, turn left at Division. Division intersects both Washington (Parking Garage) and Liberty (Necto). This is the way I'd most recommend if you're coming form Detroit Burbs to avoid foosball madness.

ALRIGHT.

So. I just returned home from this event (after fighting through football-crazed traffic) and I need to be up in less then 6 hours. BUT. I needed to post first.

And say, that this night felt a lot like a dream.

Its been SO long since I've been able to hear DJ Saint play in this setting and I sincerely miss those days and hope to see them a lot more. It was also surreal FINALLY seeing DJ Nocker play for such a responsive audience.

Along with that...dancing with a drunken, glowing Chernobyl; while also seeing phee lurking (and dancing!) in the background...much approved.

It was nice having a break from City. I need to try it more often.

I look forward to more of these nights.

Oh, and Pest, thanks for letting me steal your pretzels.

Had an AWESOME time last night! Thanks so much to Josh (THE DEEJAY) for letting me and DJ Saint take over for the night. A GIANT picture of Nitzer Ebb was on the wall by the dance floor, there were Nitzer Ebb themed drinks (num num join in the chant!). Good times, great people, great atmosphere, always have loved the club. We went all over the place as far as music goes (even sneaked in some new tracks to keep ya on your toes), and all of it was well appreciated. Just an all around amazing time. Even the requests were good!

@ Eevee, Its true, I dont often have a huge dance floor for people to really get going, so It was fun to have a TON of people dancing, Especially to Alien Sex Fiend and BALTIMORA (the best band ever).

Another excellent night! Thanks to Josh for having us out at Plastic Passions! Yes, musically all across the board and VERY AWESOME to see people dancing to an odd(?) assortment of tunes that spread across the many genres of the 80's from the punk of Bad Brains to even some hair metal (yeah, we WENT there! LOL) and of course alternative/industrial goodness.

Got a few pics of the Nitzer Ebb wall, I will post later. Very neat.

GREAT friends, GREAT drinks (OUCHY my head), good times, a wonderful wrap up to birthday week/weekend and more!

The after football/college kids crowd on the streets was hysterically annoying and would make for a terrific douchementary.

Thanks too all who came out (which was plenty of you) and I HIGHLY encourage you all to hit the next Plastic Passions in October if you've never been yet.

Oh, and Pest, thanks for letting me steal your pretzels.

The best part was when you figured out where the pretzel dispensing latch is, reached in his pants, and pulled out pretzel. The look on everyone's faces was priceless .

I also have an amazing photo that Pest took of me in the main area near the bar that I'm hoping to upload later, I look undead with dabs of orangy-pink depleted uranium under my eyes. Oh, and showing up to a club and glowing without intending to always gets me going every time, looked fabulous even though I couldn't really see much of it besides my nails (hence why I think Pest took that shot in the first place, so I could see my work). Everyone kept remarking about it though, even after I had forgotten that I was neon, so it must've been somewhat catching.

Dance floor was bumpin' something fierce! It was refreshing to tear up the floor with good friends in a new location, and a vastly different array of music than I'm used to. Some songs took me back, some had me laughing incessantly, others made me think "WOW...they seriously just went there...", but there was nothing to disappoint :jamin.

NEVER did I expect Saint and Nocker to hit me with both Jungle Love and Tarzan Boy in one night (or ever, actually, never ever saw that coming). :unworthy: :unworthy:

Never expected to grind dance with Constantin, wtf, super violated. I call that a fishbowl freebie .

I got to see Phee! Can't complain there  Also got to see Phee dance more than I've seen him dance at CC

Victoriasvengeance: Just because we are invisible to everyone doesn't give you the right to molest me in public! KAYTHNXRAPIST

Nocker's gf is freaking adorable, always a pleasure to chat to, and totally rocked the 80s style!

Talked to Killyosaur off and on, but I was probably a bit drunkstracted by the time he showed up :X

And Iris is always fabulous, no need for any summary there!

I never did get Rick Rolled, but I was Cold Caved and that's good enough for me.

I went to sleep at five in the morning after a fishbowl last night, two rum and cokes, and then I split two Budweiser tall boys with Constantin when we got back. Clearly there was some magical force in play, because I'm not tired OR hungover at all. BONUS.

I got to hear CyberAktiv in a club??? WOW...

OH RIGHT! Nocker did play that back at Mars Bar in the spring, maybe late winter, but it was definitely an unexpected treat this time around also. Second it came on, you and I industrialgasmed simultaneously, true story.

He is no longer an android. He is now a vending machine.

But...in more detail (so tired...) :

I arrived with VictoriaVengeance...we had lots of fun with her disappearing on me randomly (grr) and learning that she was actually adopted by Daddy Nobyl and Mama Vee (dun dun duuuun). Oh, and we had a weird telepathically-connected moment involving thumb wars.

Spent a part of my night following around drunk Chernobyl with her glowing panda eyes.

Chatted briefly with Constantin and also got a kick out of him dancing with Chern.

Dispensed some pretzels from Pestilence's vending mechanism.

I was very pleased to get to talk with phee in person again. I wish he could get out more. :yes

A tipsy Iris amused me with hyperactivity.

I got a chance to talk to killyosaur a few times through the night.

Nocker's GF talked to me some. She really is a sweetheart. Its a shame it took so long for us to actually have a conversation.

Nocker himself was SO pumped...especially during Join in the Chant. So awesome, haha!

And Saint, my dear friend, always awesome to see him and hear him play. I loved being at a place where I could comfortably dance to his music. And also, much thanks to him for the delicious cake drink (that Nocker's GF recommended).

Overall, an excellent night.

But the ride home was a total bitch. I now hate the colors yellow and blue.

DADDYNOBYL AND MAMAVEE ROFL . I forgot about that shit, and how the hell it even came about (probably liquor, I'm assuming).

If you want to call wtf Constantin and I were doing "dancing", then I bet it was pretty hilarious.
