Its something myself along with practically everyone else on the IMDB horror movie forums do every October.

THE RULES:

You must watch a mimimun of 31 horror movies during the month of October, 16 of which are FIRST TIME VIEWINGS (this doesnt mean have one on while you are playing a video or cleaning the house, actually watch them). You are more than welcome to watch more than 31 horror movies, but if 16 are not first time views, it doesnt matter.

The feature must be at least 50 minutes to count as a movie for the challenge. Documentaries about the horror genre are also welcome to be used An example would be "The American Nightmare"

Keep it sane in terms of what you consider horror, although alot of people may find my little pony to be horrific in its creation, its not a horror movie, get over it.

THATS ABOUT IT

It may seem over or under welming, but give it a shot and see if you can do it, for hardcore horror buffs, it becomes increasingly hard every year to find first time viewings (unless you dont care if you will enjoy them or not). Its a lot of fun, I believe this will be my 4th year competing in the challenge. There is no first or last place, you either complete it or you dont. Although bragging rights are given to people who finish fast. Hope 1 or 2 of you decide to give it a shot, feel free to keep track of your list hear.

Happy Horror movie watching!

All set, will probably start on Saturday morning though. Already know what I'll be starting with get some of the new stuff out of the way, and do 3 in one day as I may not have a chance to watch anything on Sunday and who knows what else will crop up going forward.

And done. Will post reviews, final list, etc. in winners lounge sometime this week.

Yeah, it helped a bit that I hadn't seen so many horror movies that finding decent (or not so decent as the case maybe) FTV's was rather easy. Good luck on completing your challenge!

I only have 1 FTV left, thankfully, then over te weelend I will watch about 10 of my usual halloween movies.

Ugh, 19 new films for me. I do not think I can stomach any more tonight. That last one was a whole spread of emotions:

~Nearly losing my lunch

~Crying

~Serious appallment

~Smiles

~General "Wtf!?!"

~And a sense of achievement for calling the final scene!!!
