Epic_Fail_Guy
That is really fucked up. yes, I thought so too. It got me pretty angry when I saw it. There was another vet too that had an ordeal before that, got knocked in the skull by a tear gas canister. But this one got me really angry, I actually shed tears over this one. He had surgery, but before that while needing immediate medical attention, he had to wait in a jail cell for 18 hours before they finally took him to a hospital. I really don't know what to think about all this, I know it's morbidly wrong, and it eats me up inside like a flesh eating bacteria to see this is the "freedom" men and women like myself and others fought for. Dark Dave
I did not realize that Canada had the same... magnitude of income distribution issues as the U.S.... :0 The income disparity chart is a horrible representation of anything. The poor in the US have higher standards of living than the middle class of almost every main on that list. Would you really change places with those countries? No, probably not. Occupy Wall Street is a disaster, 500 reported sexual assaults, a.murder, ruined parks, only 30% of americans now support OWS with disapproval nearly double, thousands of ows kids using $500 smartphones made by apple who uses slave labor to mark up prices 700%...if you support ows and use apple products you are a hypocrite...and ows had not changed a damn thing. But one in every three homes in the us has a ps3 or xbox360 or wii, 1 in 2 have smartphones, americans have better access to ac, laundry machines and clean water than anywhere in europe and real employment is better here than any nation on earth, most euro nations have much higher unemployment and are in debt crises. I would really like to see your sources to this because anything I've researched never included sexual assaults to that high a number. Also, I can't respect your opinion on the park being ruined because there's too much evidence against it as you can even see youtube videos of them cleaning, and maintaining the park they occupy. Also, I've been to europe before, several countries, I would say their standard of living overall is better than ours.
candyman
I make less than minimum wage and with my bills I live paycheck to paycheck...but it could always be worse. No matter what you change there will be tradeoffs that will always affect someone...and the mere mention of "the majority" or "the minority" makes me want to stab someone in the eye.
