Enders Game

Not that this is really "news" but it looks like the project is finally getting some traction. They have cast Ender and it looks like Harrison Ford might be playing Graff (which I actually think is an awesome choice)... Have you read the book? What do you think about the movie being made?

Very good book, I've not read any of the sequels. I'm sure Ill see it. Its been a LONG time in coming. Hollywood grabs every popular property in existance, its surpizing they didnt do this one yet.

I'm sure ill be annoyed by the moive mildly like i usually am. I think the only way to do a novel-length story justice is to have it be a mini series , 2 hours just isnt enough no matter how hard they try. Lord of the the rings, which Jackson tried REALLY hard , still didnt do it, there just isnt enough time to compress a 200-600 page book into a film's length.
