Fierce Critter
On our way out to a "big city" one day last week, we found this one on the side of the road: Then, when we got home that night, this one was left on our porch in a basket: We're keeping the black & white one, and have named him Calder - after Calder's dairy in Lincoln Park. The grey one I call Moses (baby in basket...), and I'm working with some rescue groups to find a home for him. We sleuthed out that one of Jon's co-workers dropped him off here. Gave him an earful - timing was REALLY bad, but at least this one won't end up dead on the road like so many others we see. I'll be adopting him and at least 2 of the other kittens I was fostering, as well as the mama out pretty soon. The good thing is, though, Mama is nursing Calder & Moses, so they've reaped the benefit of an unexpected wet nurse. So we'll keep her around long enough to get the strength of these two babies up. I've got 16 damned cats/kittens running around this house. I can't believe it. And yet, it still doesn't seem that crazy....
Homicidalheathen
Awwwww how cute! And my husband wonders why he comes home to strays. I would not have been able to resist either. Kittens melt my Michigan frozen heart!
Soulrev
! If you didn't live so far away I'd come pick up the gray one, so cute! I want a cat so bad.
gothicmom
They are so sweet! I'd take the black and white one if I could. 16 isn't too many cats! Then again, how many are too many?

Aralis
I have been wanting a male kitty. I want one that is affectionate and smart. I really would like one delawed and neutered but......I really want a new kitty! The grey one is sooo cute! :grin
Medea
That is just the cutest possible pic of the grey one... I want it! But my dad won't let us have pets anymore for some reason. All the ones we had have died now... but he won't let us get new ones.
Fierce Critter
I'd take the black and white one if I could. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That one's not going anywhere. Jon is the one who spotted him, and rescued him. He's a keeper. 16 is too many when it comes to litterboxes, buying litter, buying food, vet costs, etc. Spacewise, it's not bad, believe it or not. Rarely are all of them in once place (except when I yell "WHO WANTS FOOD?!?!?!?"). It's very doable. But the expenses are too much. Same with the upkeep. Aralis Posted Today, 07:39 PM I have been wanting a male kitty. I want one that is affectionate and smart. I really would like one delawed and neutered but......I really want a new kitty! The grey one is sooo cute! Neutered = good. Declawed = no go. I won't release my cats to people who would declaw them. No offense. But there are alternatives. Moses will be up on Petfinder's classifieds soon. I have two local rescues listing him soon, too. So he'll have a good home before too long - I hope!!! We're so torn on which of the original fosters to keep & give away. Frankly, I'd like to keep all three of them. This is so hard. Never again. DarkVampire
The black and white looks like a cat I had. Same coloring on the face and feet.
