DGN Night Aftermath

Recommended Posts

I went.

I had a good time but was exaaaaaausting. Good thing there were many friendly faces. The only people I can think of that I know will read this

*ponders*

Siren - Sweetheart as always.

KatRN - Yay! :grouphug

Pleasurekatzen - :flower:

No Tyger? WTF *shakes angry fist* lol

There were more but I'm skeptical that they'll actually read this till we get things more active. Who am I missing from this list? Speak up!

I asked around for Deka but to no avail.

I met a ton of nice new people, no clue if they'll show up or not. One girl I SHOULD have gotten her number from but mid conversation I started feeling really sick and had to go sit down, never saw her again. /sniffles. (tall , dark hair.. narrows it down not at all huh? hah)

Overall was a good time, despite sleeping in the car aftward hah.

Was nice meeting everyone, hopefully Ill be better at remembering names next time.

Drats. I left early (for me, probably like 2:30) too but was "near CC" until like 11 am hah (passed out in the car). Do you dance a lot? I was dancing like 60% of the time.

Yep, I dance about 90% of the time. :p I was wearing a metal plated skirt. Id be really surprised if you didn't see me.

I'm vaguely remember saying something to someone with a short skirt, although what it was made out of I'm not sure (the alcohol goggles were pretty strong.) The place wasnt as busy as I'm used to and that only leaves like 5 possible girls that were dancing most of the time. Do you know keith/kevo (bright blonde kinda funny/social guy?) I'm thinking I might have saw you talking to him and then I said something right after that. I tend to just go say hi to people and try to be as friendly as I can, somehow I'm pretty sure we talked even if it was just me saying some random thing like "good dancer" as I tend to do. The only way I know how to meet people is to just do something crazy like, say hi (hah) maybe <insert wiseassremark to lighten the mood> and then usually leave them alone mostly as I know a lot of people just wana dance. =D

My two gripes about that night were: The dude wearing sunglasses and the neon glow stick necklace waving around the glow sticks in peoples' faces. And the guys that were following my friend and I in their SUV as we walked to our cars and cat-calling at us. I hate that shit. It's not attractive guys, not attractive at all....

I was just there with myself. Not sure I know anyone named nick (or if I do I don't know them by that name). The usual suspects were not available. Having thought about it a little more , If your the person I'm thinking about we talked for sure, it was just brief, twice. Not that that means much either as I'm pretty social (despite an innate shyness). I'm really tall, probably tied with just about anyone else that goes there, longish hair, all black clothes (usually some sort of dress-shirt type thing) not that that narrows it down a whole ton.

Easiest way to find me is just to wander around that "dgn corner" (aka pergatory) around 12-1 I try to mull around there at that time, as finding others at CC (especially for new people, which was half the reason we started this thing back in the day) is a random ping-pong game if there's no "meet" place. Although its a ghost town these days, hopefully that'll change.

Hrmm I missed the glow sticks, I thought they didn't allow them there anymore. The glow sticks used to annooy the piss out of me, I bitched about them on 89.3FM for like a year straight. hah. Not that I have a problem with glow sticks themselves, just 1. to me it sort of kills the atmosphere 2. they seem to give people that have them licence to be obnoxious. =(

It was obnoxious. Especially when the person is waving them right in your face. They hurt my eyes when they are up close like that...

Yeah your probably right. Oh well maybe next time.

You'll probably semi-recognize Keith though at some point, just cuz hes been there very saturuday for like the last 10+ years (long as I can remember hes almost always been there every week, even after I take a break for like 6 months, I come back, and there he is, on the dance floor hitting on some girl) and is on the dance floor like 4 hours a night and sticks out like crazy , tall blonde albino guy. I don't hang out with him or anything , he just always seems to be there.
