Really? Was unaware. Seems odd for entertainers.

Ever since 9/11/01 it has been an issue with non-mainstream musicians trying to get into the country.

I remember they were supposed to tour over here with VNV Nation in 2010.

Processing of papers took so long they had to cancel:

I do not hope 2012 is a repeat of 2010 for SITD.

And there was also a major mishap with Grendel when they tried to do a US tour in 2006:

I hate our countries immigration policies. Heaven forbid a terrorist gets in here, nevermind a musical terrorist. /sigh

It would be an epic cover (no pun intended), unfortunately now that I thought about it a little bit more. It is annoying.

Yeah I guess that would be a er... "work visa" ? Which, lesser known entertainers I guess are about the same as anyone else as far as the government is concered. :confused:

Sadly, seems to be the case in point for all these instances, unless said border patrol is a fan of the band, which often helps the case here.

All Show info will be announced on Monday. We will have tickets available on 23rd of this month. The reason we have been so strangely silent in promoting this show is a FIRM rule of the club that we cannot ever promote an event we do not have a signed contract for. No matter how much I have wanted start promoting, I had to wait till now. So the contract is signed and we are ready for a great show. On a side note thanks to Saint for promoting the show as a fan. It is shit like that keeps the live scene going. VNV, Faderhead, Aesthetic Perfection, X-RX, BlakOpz and NOW Icon of Coil with SITD! Not a bad year to be a concert goer at the Necto. BTW we have 2 more coming for you.

Just bought the new single. It's amazing. Picks right up where Machines are Us left off. Can't wait for the new album, or the show.

Awesome, thanks for the last.fm add. That site slipped my mind!

No problem. It wasn't showing up at first, then I changed the title of the show to match a few other tour stops and am proud to say it is prominently displayed once you get to the events section.
