Andrew Eldritch (sisters) - "it's disappointing that so many people have in all seriousness adopted just one of our many one-week-of-stupid-clothes benders". He also notes that, "I'm constantly confronted by representatives of popular culture who are far more goth than we, yet I have only to wear black socks to be stigmatised as the demon overlord".

Sami (Faderhead) answering questions/rumors about him in his blog -“Faderhead is not real industrial” – true. And that’s a good thing.

We'll be mixing in a TON of Sisters of Mercy and Faderhead @ Merciful Fist! Along with our usual Stompy Noise So..If you're a fan of "not goth" and "not industrial"..you're going to love this clash up!

Modern Ruin has been moved to FRIDAY Nights. Louie's is under new management and Modern Ruin will now be the Second Friday of each month, starting this month (this week)... so, we'll see you all FRIDAY and not Saturday. Spread the word so people don't miss out on this month's event!

In the spirit of St.Patrick's day we turn the spotlight on Dublin's own Ronan Harris. Best known as the singer and songwriter of VNV Nation, Ronan's influence on the electronic music scene is incalculable.

Harris performed vocals for the futurepop supergroup Bruderschaft on their Forever EP, and appeared on AFI's 2006 Decemberunderground album, providing electronic sequences and effects for some of the songs. Additionally, he produced the 2001 Angels and Agony album Eternity, remixes for numerous bands, coined the term Futurepop, and produces music for his solo project Modcom.
