COVENANT

-------

Igniting the E.B.M. scene with unstoppable dance floor hits, Covenant remain the mark to reach for many new emerging bands. With the perfect combination of Eskil's haunting, dark, majestic vocals, pulsating techno beats, creative noise samples, and amazing synth work, the band has created a strong North American following as well as an enormous European base.

Their sound has been compared to an assemblage of styles ranging from Prodigy, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, and Kraftwerk; but the final result is like nothing anybody else has been putting out. Covenant has redefined the way Electronic Body Music is perceived and have become one of the premiere acts in the genre the world over, spawning massive club hits such as "Stalker," "Der Leiermann," "Dead Stars," "Bullet," "Call The Ships To Port," "We Want Revolution," "Ritual Noise," "Lightbringer" and more.

THE BREAK UP

-------

Somewhere around the millennium shift...

It was a night that lasted into the wee hours of the morning (or did it last for days?) filled with much debauchery, intoxication, insomnia and inspiration that brought on "Casio Confessions", the first jam sessions of Shane Allen Hall and Severina Sol. It was a match made in, well...under the stormy skies of the great NorthWest! At the time, Shane was a digital hardcore DJ in the underground Seattle party scene while Severina was a bleeding siren of song for the likes of Fockewolf and Diva Destruction. Those first seeds would take time to grow into the beautiful birth of The Break Up as we know them now. Coming together by their own talents and gravitational attraction; The Break Up would create a great disturbance of movement and sound, color and depth.

"Retro electro with a hearty helping of dark pop songs full of grit and attitude that would surely remind some of the likes of Berlin or The Human League in their darker moments." - (ReGen Magazine on The Break Up)

D:KONSTRUCT

-------

Nominated in 2011 as one of Detroit's best electronic/industrial bands at the Detroit Music Awards, the energetic power trio D:Konstruct first had its beginnings in 1999, when project founder Robert Vandergriff, lead vocalist and song writer, moved to Michigan in search of musicians to form an industrial music project. Over the years, the project morphed from the more industrial sounds of the past to the catchy electro dance music they make today. Eventually, Robert hooked up with Jon Yowell (drummer) from Oppfor and Mike Phipps (keyboardist and backing vocalist) from Pulse State

GHOST SYNTHESIS

-------

Ghost Synthesis is a new project from Detroit producer/composer Jeff Rebrovich and songwriter/ sound designer Rob Hogue. With its dark cinematic orchestration combined with nightmarish sound design, clever programming, cutting guitars and synth work, Ghost Synthesis is aptly named. The self-titled debut album is slated for an early summer release.

Tickets are on-sale now via brownpapertickets.com as well as myself and Doc Colony.

They will also be available every Monday night at Northern Lights Lounge from 10p-2am (while supplies last!) this is a smaller, more intimate show for a band like this, and by the way sales have been progressing over the past 24 hours, this event will most likely sell out. To ensure entry, please buy your tickets ASAP :) Thanks to everyone for all if the support!

If I was being rushed to the hospital for an emergency heart transplant, I would CANCEL THE OPERATION JUST TO ATTEND THIS SHOW!!!

However, Im torn: Do I rock my D:Konstruct shirt, or do I rock my Covenant shirt? I suppose if I had a

Oh, crap! Concert during the week! I'm old, and suffer greatly at work the next day for late nights out during the week. For D:KONSTRUCT, though, I will totally suffer!!

I'm putting this on my calendar :D

Yay! I'm going, I totally wanna see you!
