Troy Spiral (13)
I'll have to wait till its done d/l it and watch it on my tv (I dont have cable) sittin and watching stuff at my computer for whatever reason is hard for me, crappy chair and location. Tron Legacy wasnt as good as I hoped , but had some AWESOME moments in it, (and a sweet soundtrack) really wish the would have went into more detail so i cared about the characters more. Hopefully this will.
f0rged
I watched this the other night, and I've gotta say, I'm quite impressed. They did the music right, the animation style makes me want to watch Aeon Flux again, and the storyline wasn't too bad either. I'm really curious to see where they take this series. Troy Spiral (13)
I'm still mourning the loss of a chance for an EPIC movie with Tron Legacy , in the end it was just ok (with some epic moments.. bar scene/soundtrack was great).

I'm not afraid to admit that I LOVED Tron Legacy. Considering the time lapse between Tron and this sequel I'm happy with how they did it. The bar scene, the flying scene, and the soundtrack definitely were the highlights. But the storyline that it opened up paved the way for Tron Uprising to take place for one, and while it may not be the best movie EVAR...I dug it. Really wish I could have went to comicon 2010 , they had a re-creation of Flynn's arcade, then, through the tron game in the back of the place, and then the "lazer computer room" then it opened up into the End of Line club from the movie. It looked/sounded really cool and I WANTED it to be epic, and I've actually watched it three times ... ok so maybe I like it a little more than I thought I did... hah. I was really excited about it, just seemed a bit too gloss-ed over in terms of the actual story (what happened between the two movies, and what happened in the movie itself), several of the characters never really got a chance to shine, they spent too much time on the kid, little bit too much time on the action that could have been spent on the other characters, and a lot of the back story they packed into 20 second long monologs that seemed out of place to me. I can remember thinking "sweeeeeeeeet" about 5-6 different times during the movie though. But that's more beasue I was sort of a tron nerd as a kid and also a huge sci fi buff. So i tend to give sci fi (and franchise sci fi especially) higher creds than somone else. I try to factor that bias in when I''m watchin a movie "is this really a great movie, or is it just me because I like space ships?" for instance.
