Sold tons of Covenant tickets, took *lots* of silly photos and generally had an awesome evening :)

I had a fun time. I saw a few people from here, troy refused to give me the hug I wanted, I was hit on by a girl to join her in a three sum with her soon to be husband, and I drank the night away.

Holy crap, troy refusing a hug or even a specific hug type must be the first sign of the apocalypse! How that is even possible I'm unaware. :wine:

Good to see you there and here as always. Hopefully things worked out in the end.

When people (especially ones I don't know very well or at all) something like "im gonna go get a drink" i say "make sure you get it from cute girl with the foofy hair shes good" , I used to say "get it from Pleasure Kitten" but half drunk (them or me) and talking to people that may be new that is far less discrptive. :gathering:

Glad to hear you had a good time and glad to hear how your night went.

I almost didn't make it I was feeling pretty icky but things got better around 8-9 and I realized I had a few extra dollars for gas that I forgot about so: :happydance (although some people still need to learn how to return txts! grr lol)

The night flew by faster than normal for some reason, first time I (almost) closed the place in years and went to AHEM "The Venue Formerly Known As City Bites." I met this nice black guy with dreadlocks and his nice friend who said she was a nurse... If i got their names I don't remember them.. dangit... maybe some miracle will occur and they'll show up and pm me.

Ugh i'm about to pass out here Ill write a better "aftermath" reply later... was great to see everyone. *stumbles off to do a faceplant*

Yes, them two and you will be the three out of many I invited to eat which by the way is 16% success rate. Other then the random comic crazy guy that invaded our table, it was a good night. I invited them to DGN while troy explained its purpose. While they invited me to a steampunk night party. +1 for me or is it 2.

Unfortunately the people that say they'll check out DGN vs the people that actually do check it out are like 5 to 1 , then of the people that check it out the people that actually post are like 5 to 1 , then of the 5 that post, its maybe a 1 out of 2 chance of them actually making 50 posts, so that's like a 1 in 50 chance of someone we talk to becoming an actual +1 to that number next to our names. (and thats assuming they put our names down as referrals when they sign up, which probably makes it more like 1 in 100 after the first 5 or so (usually the first 5 or so tend to be closer friends) Really appreciate the help though that's for sure.

It was very simple actually. I said hi and you ignored me. I put my arm on your shoulder and you didn't talk. And then I asked for a hug before you went and you still ignored me. I know I'm not that cool, but damn. :p

    • So I just got back from Happy Endings and I saw @DJ Saintthere.  He told me that after I got kicked out of High Dive that later on Mike also attacked him, and Mike and his crew were also kicked out.  Then we talked about the scene and possible upcoming gigs.  I hope something comes his way soon, as well as mine too.  With the current economy I think more club owners will be hungry to try more things like goth/industrial/other alternative nights.  I've also heard that GenZ isn't online dating and is actually going out into the world to meet people which may also help business owners, though they aren't drinking which doesn't really help much.  I think more places are going to need to start serving food and mocktails to make up the difference. Then Mike showed up at Happy Endings which I thought was highly likely because I hadn't seen him there in a while, and @DJ Aaron Hingst,@elektrosonik, and his husband Tim were all there too.  He did something else I wasn't expecting...  Which was he actually shook my hand and said it was good to see me, which caught me a little off guard.  He didn't apologize for anything but it's a start I think.  I told him I was sorry to hear about @djpleasurekitten's passing (which I was/am.  Despite the rift that ended up existing between us we were friends at one point.) So maybe he's moving on finally?  If so then I'm glad.  I'm still not sure if I'll ever go back, but it is at least a start, and it's nice to actually see he's trying to bury the hatchet in something other than my skull.
    • Stargate Universe, which everyone said sucked but I'm actually enjoying it? Like there are less jokes, but lots of dark humor, and people might actually die rather than have 10ft thick plot armor?  Yes please more of this!

Those IPs for v4 and v6 mean they lead to the HTTP equivalent of /dev/null X/Twitter is blocked too.  I need to block Alphabet/Google and Microsoft as well, but they're actually useful for certain things (damn you YouTube and GitHub!)
