Well, how i ended up north here is because before i moved up here, i was staying back at my parents place in detroit near wsu. i left michigan with my former ex sept 2010 to texas for a job he got, broke up with him & dated his friend who was not only working the same job, but he was they guy that referred my former ex about the job/same guy im dating now for over a year. he is also from michigan & lansing is his hometown, so we came back (me & the new guy) june 2011 for a chicago job he had while staying in lansing with a friend for a bit, then that chitown job failed and we have been up here ever since.

rofl, gotta admit its a funny story on how the 3 of us are involved with each other (me, new guy & the ex)gathering.gif

im in school for ged while he is a line cook but former linux system admin was his title back at hostgator (web hosting company like godaddy and liquid web).its been a year since ive been w/o a job and still looking.confused.gif

omfg american dad and family guy are good shows, you really must watch them, i strongly suggest you will get a laugh out of them!thumbup.gifthumbup.gifthumbup.gif

interesting turn of events... thats a lot of moving in a short time span, at least in troyland. I do like chicago but I've only been there "for fun" if you have to go there for work the experience might not be the same. (plus im all sorts of nerd, including a big city fan, especially chicago and have read a lot about it, so when Im walkin around i'm sort of my own tour guide lol)

DGN is actually hosted on hostgator. I would have it at godaddy just because that's were the domain names are at (detroitgothic.net .com .org) but IPS (company that makes the software DGN runs on) seems to like hostgator and I need them to fix things that are beyond me sometimes.

    • Feeling happy to report that my neighbor and her cat are now back together.  I build her fur baby an indoor Cat Run and now the cat and her 3 kittens have been moved in.  I told my neighbor to make sure the little ones stay with their mother for at least 3 days in their new environment before she starts letting people handle and take the babies away.    I wish she would keep at least one of the 3 kittens, but apparently they are all already spoken for.

    • Well it happened, understandably but it still sucks.  I hated them both so I was going to be unhappy either way, but I do admit I hate Trump slightly more because of the narcissism, egomania, xenophobia, and misogyny.  On top of that that insufferable base of his who think that they are free to act the same way now that he's won.  The apologetics from them were horrible too where they handwaved away legitimate criticisms, and mocking those who brought them with "orange man bad!"   The one good thing to come out of this is punk music is going to absolutely rock for the next few years.  However I really just have one question... https://www.loudersound.com/features/andrew-eldritch-sisters-of-mercy-will-make-another-album-if-trump-is-elected IT'S HAPPENED TWICE NOW ANDY, WHERE'S OUR FUCKIN' ALBUM‽ Well, I guess at least I'll get to keep my guns.
