LisaG
My name's LisaG, and I'm a friend of Lilly420 and I've gone with her to City a few times. Hoping I can make it out there most Saturdays. I used to work as a flash game developer, but now I find myself making flash ads because A. it pays better and B. I don't have to move to California. I want to get back into games eventually, and I still do some work on them in my free time. I have surprisingly little to say about myself. LisaG
Current location? Orion, but moving in a few months. Probably Shelby/Rochester-ish area Where from? Shelby Twp Gender? Female Work? Making flash banners for an ad agency School? Been there, done that Kids? Nope. Married? Nope. Single? Yep. Hobbies? Drawing, writing, game design, various crafts How Did You Find / hear about DGN? Troy gave me a card at City Club How did you pick your DGN name? Variation of a screenname I've been using foreverz. Real first name + fake last name (initial in this case) http://www.herointeractive.com/ This is the game design company I worked for, before they pretty much cut everyone. My main projects were Retired Wizard Defense and Checkpoint. I also did writing for Dead Metal and menu systems for a few of the games. I did a lot for our FB game, Zoo-Opolis (writing and concept work, deciding prices and balancing gameplay) buuut they had to take that one down, since it took a lot of server space and nobody was playing it. :c I can't say much about it other than we ran into budget problems and what we released was a just a shadow of what we had planned, so it failed. I actually thought you were screwing with us when you said "Orion" like "i'm from Venus" or something, had too look it up. Amazing how I can live my whole life in a state and still find new places. I actually hired a guy (or thought I did) to make a "gothic themed game (or just mod one he already had)" (the plan was to integrate it into DGN) but he fell off the face of the planet halfway through, this was back when DGN actually had money for such things. Not that the place is even active enough (yet, working on getting it back in shape) again to bother (fell off the health wagon awhile ago place became pretty inactive) I played Retired Wizard Defense a couple times just now... apparently I should "be ashamed" I failed at retiring (is it possible to not fail? lol). Did I give you that DGN card awhile ago , or was it recently? Anyhow welcome again, now we gotta trick , er.. talk you into throwing your 2 cents in on a few topics *points all around*
