No one ever plays Fleshfield any more, kind of makes me feel like the best days are over. T.T and no matter how many times I wrote Elfengrab on the to play list every time I go, no one ever plays it. I even brought it up to Roman when I was there last. T.T Well atleast Neuroticfish is on the playlist, thats brings a smile to my face.

It can be frustrating I know, but its just the way of things.

Its hard to keep everyone happy. Gotta pay the bills somehow. Luckily Neroticfish is a "big" band so they'll get regular play more likely than Flesh Field. Doesn't have to do necessarily with critical acclaim, has to do with popularity.

People at dance clubs what to hear typically lets call them "the hits" as probably 80% of the people there are not people that go every week and if they are on the dance floor they want to hear "their favorites". (Even say skinny puppy isnt something that a whole ton of your average "party clubbers" are going to want, so im guessing requests for Uprising or Voice of Decent or some such are minimal... even though I think they are great)

First day I ever went to a club (17?) years ago I remember people telling me "man the good old days are over" and I had never been to a club before , I myself had this opinion 10 years ago, now I've went to my zen happy place about it, things just change. 5 years from now, newer people will probably be saying that "these days" were the good old days.

Really though I go to the club for the people, I can play any song I want any time I want almost, especially with modern technology.
