Pay off my debt and my mother's house.... Travel all over the world and learn until my brain explodes... Then invest the rest and live off the interest and work part time. Just enough not to be bored, btu not so much it interferes with my life or health. (Like now)

at the risk of sounding obvious......

i would pay of my damn mortage so i no longer ever have to worry about this shit again.

Then i would go to disneyland with my kids like i have wanted to for 5 years now.

While i am on vacation i would pay someone else to finish this damn house to my dreams even though it would not be worth it when i re sell it but honestly i dont think i would ever move so who care if the house is worth more then area. it make me happy and perhaps some day some deserving soul will find my diamond and aperciate it like i do.

Sell my current house, use proceeds to get country house. Use some of cash windfall to update the farmhouse, get a car and some nice presents for friends and family. Invest 700,000K. Sit back and love life and retire at 45 or 50 when it has grown to 1.8 or so. :)

Pay off outstanding bills,

put half into stocks and bonds

Buy house and cars, and furnishings, & Pay like 3 years worth of utilities, and go on a super vacation, then take the rest and split it up between my family and closest friends

Whatever is made on the stocks will go towards living expences, and donations.

Move to the rainforests in Australia, get a lap-top, a good wireless connection and a vintage Vespa. I'd use the rest to open a Cayman Islands account and live off the interest. Maybe in a few years, when I started to miss human contact, I'd open a club. Maybe buy a boy-harem.

You're a guy? :blink

Most people who sign the guestbook on my webshite without going on about how **cough** "beautiful" they think I am are female.

1) pay off all debts for myself and my husband.

2) buy a good car.

3) buy a home in Wyandotte, Michigan.

4) Pay off my father & sister.

5) take care of anything my parents need

6) Within reason, help out the rest of my family (most of them are so darned good with money and in such good shape, however, that wouldn't take much. I'm the only financial fuck-up in the whole damned brood)

7) Invest or deposit the rest in some good, interest-bearing account and live off the interest (we're exceedingly fine with a simple life - once we have a purchased house (around $100,000) and a good car, we don't need much.

A "boy-harem" sounds like a great idea! :cheerful

Gotcha. I'd just read the East Side vs. Royal Oak thread before looking at this one.

I do like being an East Sider, if i have to be a Detroiter, what I meant (sorry) is that I would move abraod (as in out of country). London is my first choice.
