LadyKay
I know this is being made out as a joke and some people don't think it is serious. But my take on the matter is I find it rather disheartening that Romney thinks that cutting funding to PPS will get us out of debt. From my understanding of things, the amount of government funds that is given to PPS is minuscule. Compared to government funding else where. When Romney said he was going to cut PPS funding, that is saying to me that this is a guy who really does not have real plan about how to go about getting the country out of debt. He is just saying he is going to do this and that and it all sounds so good. But I don't think he really knows how to put his ideals into action. When my daughter was pre-school age I could not afford to send her to preschool. I could not afford cable as well so we would watch PPS shows. The children programs helped my daughter learn her ABC's, colors, numbers, and even some small words. She knew all her letters, numbers, shapes, colors and could read some before she started kindergarden. I believe that the programs on PPS helped her with this. So I take what Romney said about PPS very seriously. There are other ways to get the US out of debt without cutting funding to education PPS. My 2 cents thank you very much! Class-Punk
I know this is being made out as a joke and some people don't think it is serious. I consider Romney and Ryan's whole campaign a joke, at least for the middle class. I tend to think cutting funding to a massively popular television show that benefits children who are poorer or don't have supportive parents is logic fit for the modern Republican party.
