School's Rules For Halloween Costumes

My daughter's school sent home a letter about Halloween costumes. It states no bloody, gory, inappropriate costumes that depict fighting or death. What the heck? Why even bother having a Halloween party? I have already bought my daughter's costume. She wants to be Darth Vader (she loves Darth Vader). Now a week before the party the school sends this letter home. I say screw it. My daughter is going to be Darth Vader just as she wanted. I mean no gory, bloody, death or fighting would pretty much cover most Halloween costumes that kids want to be.

WHAT! No bloody, gory, inappropriate looks that depict fighting or death...so in other words the fantasy realm of real life is out substituted by the real world of the truly make-believe...
