Just saw it.

*Sigh*

What a hamfisted treatment.

Granted the original wasn't the greatest story ever told but the reboot (boot as in the noise some make when vomiting) is trash.

Even more so by the fact that originally it was going to be the ChiComs invading the west coast not the dinky ass North Koreans.

The removed and changed a lot of the original drivers to the point that one felt like they watching someone play a zero substance war video game.

The only good thing in this move was where the invaders where calling people who where defending their home terrorists. Sound familiar?

OK so two good things, kids less than half my age saying it sucked compared to the original.

Glad I didn't pay full price, wish I had waited to download a cam.

How much do you want to bet that when I go to see Evil Dead (the remake of The Evil Dead) that the next time I see Mr. Campbell , I'll look him in the eyes with tears in mine and whisper "You lied... to us all." Because I can not remember a remake that wasn't shit let a lone shit compared to it's predecessor.

Casino Royale was a damn good remake.

Casino Royale (1967) is satire of the James Bond and spy films in general named from a Bond novel so Casino Royale (2006) is a novel adaption not a remake.
