I was reluctant to ask you to spend so much :(

Yeah, those types of things can be a bit pricey, but there are ways of cutting the cost. In my opinion, sleeping arrangements take precedence over most everything else. We most definitely shall have to fix that arrangement...

Guess I might be able to join on a shopping excursion this time. (Hope?)

Look forward to you joining us

I really suggest thrift stores and such where possible. For new furniture ; I think Liquidation World or similar would be smarter.

This was why I suggested going down backstreets and looking for discarded furniture from students moving out. We could easily make a weekend of just that.

Interestingly, in contrast to here, Canada is so clean I was a bit lost. In the States, with as much driving as we did there, we would have had two truck loads of furniture and still had time to hit Villains for eats, drinks and Karaoke :hrhr:

Bed bugs you guys, be careful..sometimes people aren't getting rid of stuff because they no longer want it. You never know (even if you are buying furniture) where stuff came from and why it's really was discarded. Sorry I am not trying to mess up your plans, just being real.

Not a problem, that's why I generally purchase bedding supplies from a credible store because in the event of an issue, they will exchange, refund, or get an ear full...
