Help for a homeless elderly woman

There is a 75 y/o woman that sit's outside the shelter here in Taylor. She is sitting all day in the sun from about 6 am until 7pm when the shelter opens back up at night. I would take her in personally if I had a place of my own, but I don't. None of the social worker's have met with her to discuss her needs (which, I assume, she wants a place to rest her head at night). This elderly woman has slipped through the cracks and has no family support. This is completely unacceptable to me, so I am taking matters into my own hands. I am looking for subsidized senior housing units in the Macomb County area (she is from Warren but the hospital could only find her a shelter bed here Downriver) I am asking my friends here If anyone knows of any type of senior housing in Macomb County, perhaps you have a grandparent or even a parent that may be living in a similar place. I would appreciate any resources that anyone can share with me. I am hoping to go see her tonight and in the morning to try and get her hooked up with a senior alliance agency, but I figure if I can help do the leg work seeing as I normally get paid to do this type of stuff, why not. Oh, and don't worry, I am not violating any type of confidentiality or recipient rights as I am just acting as a concerned citizen, (i.e She's not my client). Thanks everyone.
