Sounds You Hate Hearing

I haven't found a thread for this. So I decided to create one. We all have a sound or two that we can't stand to hear or listen to. Mine is the screeching of tires. Reason, it's usually followed by a loud boom and screams.

What sound bugs you to no end and why?

The vague sound of neighbors when you live in an apartment, having sex, arguing and screaming, kids crying, people just talking so loud and carrying on partying...I should never, ever live in an apartment again.

A vehicle backfiring. Resembles weapon's fire. Used to take cover after returning from the military. Still hate it.
