Fucking labels, man, seriously, so sick of it. When will society just look at people as individual's and stop boxing people up? ...these kids were both disturbed for some reason and hopefully they get the help they need, thankfully that little girl is alive. Society is just a mess, no matter what box the media wants to throw us in. Here's an article, this is the real issue...were all fucked up because the lines of what's real and what's fake is blurred...specially with social networking, seriously, empathy is destroyed, people sit behind computer screens operating the world like it's fucking OZ and acting like they are big shit, but pull back the "curtain" and it's noting but a little, scared human being playing pretend..(I did not articulate this the way I wanted to, oh well, What I am saying is, we just need to show kids that death is final, things are real, if you stab someone they die, they don't come back to life like in a video game or something)

Unfortunately its too hard for people to make individual judgments (for lack of a better term) on individual people and keep a "I don't know" attitude, until they get enough specific information. Peoples brains don't like question marks. So we try to find easy, simple 1+1 answers for things, rather than realize life is a hell of a lot more complex than we'd like.

Group labels let people think they know more about individuals than they do (or is even possible to know) and just put it on their mental shelf marked "done".

Forget all the mentally ill people (often kids) who have done horrible things and their parents, its all this one Goth's fault clearly. It is always easier to accuse and judge than to ask why. They are even trying to try these kids as adults, when honestly any reasonable court upon having defendants state they did it because a fictional character told them to should be sending them to Psyche. Whether Slenderman told them, Voldemort, or Jesus.
