I just got back from the nut shrink doctor , (upped my xanax woot lol). Then , the intersection of Cherry Hill & Wanye Road was a ghost town, not that it matters, but I turned left to go home. Apparently that is a "no turn on red". BAMN ... cop pulls me over.. $150 dollar ticket.

Ugh. Thats what I get for being in a good mood.

Now I can decide between paying that ticket or paying my health insurance, which, is a no brainier since I need my health insurance, but I run the risk of having to pay a HUGE fine later which I also can't afford. Joy. Making really afraid to leave the house now, couldn't even barely afford gas. Now this. GRRR

Scary. Screw You universe!

Oh well I'll live i guess.

Sometimes life feels like one step forward and two steps back...the key is to stay positive.

When I was in school for skills trades training, I used to get pulled over every 3 days just for driving around the city looking like a black man. And it didn't help that I had to chauffeur my mother and sister to work downtown everyday, so my levels of anxiety and paranoia were through the roof at the time when the speedometer had gone out in the vehicle on a day when a cop decided to hawk me as I was driving my mother home from work.

At that time, I already had 3 ticket waivers, that I had to keep on my person at all times for 6 months each, for failing to produce my proof of registration fast enough. I believe the only reason I didn't receive a ticket that day was due to me looking like a kid being reprimanded by a parent for my driving as the cop was staring in the window at our antics. In actuality, my mother was trying to keep me calm while I was freaking out at the thought of yet another pull over and bogus ticket writeup in nearly 6 weeks. The cop eventually pulled ahead of us and continued on his way.

Although my fear level was high, my mother made me continue driving regardless of everything that had happened over the 8 months I was in that training class and I must say, it made me a more observant driver, especially to the ways of law enforcement. I had to keep driving even if it was just around the block and back into the driveway...just a thought.

So make sure you don't let this incident scar your mental state too much.
