Vater Araignee
What irks me is that CDs still cost the same as when they first came out... now that's ridiculous. What other consumer item can you think of, where the price hasn't come down in almost 20 years? They are definitely more shoddily made now, too... they didn't scratch anywhere near as easy back in the late '80s. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually CDs cost an average of $4.00 less than 20 years ago but even if they did not they would still be cheaper considering inflation. Things that cost more now than 20 years ago hmmmm..... computers, cars, motorcycles, gas, bread, milk, hot wheels, play doe, video game systems, light bulbs, beef, pork, chicken, hot dogs, dogs, cats, mice, rats, fish, food for the last five, books, wood, paper, WEED, BEER, WINE, Liquor, a can of corn, ramen noodles, bazooka gum, bubble gum period, candy bars, pop, and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and. Stuff costs more now than twenty, ten, five, or even a year ago. Be happy when the price holds rather than goes up.
Scary Guy
Actually computers do cost less and do more, but I think thats the only exception to the rule.
soothsayer
If you bought those records new, there's a chance that either your turntable is off-balance or your stylus (needle) is in need of replacement. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those records I bought that skipped I returned and would find out that many others had returned the same record, same reason. I love music so I'm just going with what I can afford. I still love vinyl but not for sound quality. I'm not dropping large sums of money just for a few records.
