7/6/05 Mephisto's Aftermath

Thanks to all who came out, and thanks for the complements, it really makes my job worth it.

Wow there are so many Mephisto's threads that it's kind of hard to keep up.

I had a lot of fun, even though I had to do a lot of running up and down the stairs. The amp went out a few times near the end as it was overheating. However I brought it home with me, took the top off, and blew it out with an air compressor, so that will hopefully be the first and last time that happens (it's two years old too and has never had servicing, so it was about time someone did it).

Afterwards me and Todd went out to eat at National Coney Island on 12 and Main (our usual after club ritual).

BS9 and I went and had a great time.  Scary Guy played some awesome tunes, as usual.  He even played some old Gang of 4, which made me get out there and dance by my lonesome until Ministry came on and filled up the floor.  It was nice to see so many DGNers there last night.  Again, I drank one too many margaritas. :blushing

MM I thuoght you hated everything I played. Glad to hear I'm misinformed. But like I said feel free to make requests. That Gang of Four was requested by Todd (the DJ upstairs on Saturdays) after I played some DAF, and I had to pull it from TimTiki's collection.

TimTiki actually played that, not me. But I'll keep that in mind, everyone loves that song anyhow though.

I saw Scary Guy. I know I've met him before. Or at least someone who looks alot like him. The guy I'm thinking of used to DJ at Cheetahs on the strip. He went to CC alot too.

Yeah I kind of avoided you for the commentary on the DCC forums but that was months ago. I tend to take that stuff personally. But I'm willing to put it behind me.

I heard Scary Guy was supposed to go shopping with John today so that we can finally have a decent karaoke selection. :woot:
