I've finally joined DGN after lurking for years and meeting a few members recently.

I live in the Ypsilanti area, and I work doing marketing for an IT company in Ann Arbor. Outside of work, I am a juggler and performance artist. I also do film making and acting. I love horror movies. I've been going to goth clubs and alternative shows for years, but oddly enough, I do not know that many people, as I am very introverted. Looking to chat on here a bit, maybe meet some like-minded folks, and check out more interesting events in the area.

Yay you made it!

Oddly enough I myself am very introverted, I have hidden in my cave for so many hours its not funny.   Lost friends over it indirectly , many of them.   Just gotta keep trying to fight it.  There are lots of ways, but one is to just pull the nike swoosh and just do it.  Especially the red apple thing I think is pretty un-intimidating.  Its like a mom & pop version of denny's.

I tried to juggle for several months but i pretty much suuuuuuuck.   I can juggle 4 objects comfortably, 5  occasionally... barely... ok I drop the shit constantly.   I can only juggle 3  things that I have to "flip" it seems  (not sure if there is a name for that)  like bowling pins, knives etc.

Were do you usually do this stuff at / via.  I mean are there regular venues for this?   I assume you do this filmaking with Steven?

Now we just gotta get you to maybe stick around here and throw your two cents in on a few things *points around*.   Also let me know what  I need to do to drag you kicking and screaming to the next gathering, and are you on my FB friends list?

anyhow good to see you online, hopefully it wont be the last time!

*waves at Nathan*

Maybe I could talk you into dressin up in some of your performance garb one week?   So easy to go from "theatre bizarre" to "goth" the same thing honestly.  (don't get me started on what "gothic" means lol so broad)

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

I travel quite a bit for juggling, mainly to festivals for fun, though occasionally for performance/business. Going to juggling festivals in California, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas this summer. There's actually a small juggling festival in Ann Arbor on May 7th if anyone is interested. I perform at everything from family shows to dark sideshow events.

Going to try to post here more and hopefully make it to another gathering sometime soon.
