Holi is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in India and Nepal, also known as the "festival of colours" or the "festival of love".  Holi festival indicates the victory of good over evil, it marks the onset of spring and the departure of winters and is also celebrated as a thanks-giving for good harvest.
