Fasting and Pants

Paper Hearts

Recommended Posts

I can't fast. I'm hypoglycemic. And, I need new pants.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Same here.

I take that back. I tried fasting for, like, a day. I don't remember a goddamned thing from that day, but Scott says that my obnoxiousness and weirdness was tenfold. Trust me, I NEED to be fat -- it mellows me out.

I have gone 30 days without eating. Fasting when done properly for spiritual reasons is one thing. Starvation for vanity is not healthy mentally or physically. My horrible habits have almost killed me. After being on meth for years I developed bad habits and almost died. Eat well.

That doesn't necessarily mean that they're anorexic.  Some people just have VERY high metabolisms.  Not everyone likes to eat a lot either.  Most people tend to put on more weight when they reach their late twenties and/or when they hit thirty.  But, there are a lot of "skinny" pale guys under the age of twenty at CC who are still healthy.

You know you can have a stoke starving yourself? Your right and left ventrical of the heart need calcium and potassium to charge enough to pump the blood through. Nichole Kidman used this diet and it works...my nutritionist said it is ok for short term and I have done it.

Spinach (raw) salad and egg whites.

Spinach has vitamins and minerals and fiber and is low carb.

Two egg whites have all the protein you need for a day with only 16 calories. Just watch the dressing. Your heart is a muscle and needs protien.

Men's sizes are much more standard than women's sizes. Plus, many women have lumps, bumps, and curves all over, so pants aren't always flattering on them. Skirts just kind of hug your figure and flow.

I thought finding pants was easier for women, actually-I've just found out though (by your post) that finding pants must not be not easy for anyone. -Elusive pants.

"True" starvation = bad. I just use the term "starvation diet" sometimes to describe what being on a strict diet feels like for me since i've never been able to stick to a diet this long. Sorry if i gave you the wrong impression.

My goal is to be trim/lean/some muscle, not nesssiarly to "be skinny" or "starve myself". Short term the goal is to get rid of the rest of the bodyfat and add muscle + improve my metabolism for health reasons.

Theres a lot of talk about the "look" that you end up with via dieting / exersize and its the easy part of it to talk about. But , the reason im dieting / exersizing is for health reasons. At this point im (i hope) slowly approaching something akin to being in "good shape". I dont mean "LOOK like im in good shape" i mean, actually internally due to trying to eat right and exersize, being in good shape. It has helped my health problems 100 fold, the bad days are so much easier to deal with now than they ever were before. Im not sure that my symptoms are nessisarly any better than they were before, but im physically stronger and better able to cope with them. =) Thats mostly whats keeping me motivated.

I also do need some new pants, i have a grand total of 2 pairs of "going out" pants that fit properly. hehe =)

Goths all wear there pants so big now anyway....almost like rappers. At least the young one's do. And don't talk to me about fit. I still have to shop in the kids section. I just never really grew up.

Royal Oak has some good stores for tight club pants. Around Main and 7th to 4th streets. Fake leather and snake skin print type stuff. Some of the new materials are pretty stretchy so you can eat before you go out and still fit in them.

And what about pants?

I hear ya. I need to fast before I can even fit into my old pants in my closet. :blushing

I'm not buying any more pants... I'll wear the ones I have when laundry requires it but.... nope... Skirts it is from now on. (Unless I get skinny and lose the FUPA)

GlitterBoy pants are what we were talking about that night. Mine are black with pin stripes and they are stretchy, therefore they can only be worn to certain clubs and only when accompanied by something equally tight and crazy and one'd also have go out and find a really cool belt-those ones at Hot Topic willn't cut it-

I never 'really' fast for long, either. I have bread and that every once in a while when i'm on that type of kick.

The fast removal of pants rules!

Fasting to fit into pants does nothing for me. I just buy bigger pants.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That's one way to slice it. I've not fasted to fit into pants, it was only that i was very hung-over, remembering what had gone on last Saturday evening, and I remembered that I spoke with Troy twice and oddly: once about pants and then a seperate time about fasting. Naturally, if you're Paper Hearts, you then take those ideas and make a new DGN thread-and might i add that it's been quite successful?
