Stephen Hawking: Visionary physicist dies aged 76

He died peacefully at his home in Cambridge in the early hours of Wednesday, March 14th 2018, his family said.

The British scientist was famed for his work with black holes and relativity, and wrote several popular science books including A Brief History of Time.

At the age of 22 Prof Hawking was given only a few years to live after being diagnosed with a rare form of motor neurone disease.

Really sucks.  

The silver lining is that for ONCE someone that is not a member of The Cult of the Entertainer as I call it gobbling up news cycles.  People that contribute virtually nothing to mankind, in the long run, are like the new gods that when they pass it's like the end of the world.  At least Hawking merits the attention.
